We went to see Sisters yesterday. It was pretty funny. The rest of the day was low key. We have been playing with the Bengal cat, a bit crazy, but less crazy than in years past.

Good morning. I turned on the Q in time to see the promotional video for Zulily. The TSV boots are not made for my walking, but there are a few areas needing that type of shoe now...but not here.

All of the action was on Christmas Eve, lol. I went to a family dinner, presented by my eldest niece. She did such a beautiful job setting the table. My niece is just the entire package - she decorated (not formal), she cooks, she and her husband are good partners, she's a good Mom. On the holidays I look at each of my nieces and just think -WOW, I remember when they were toddlers - what wonderful women they became :-)

Good Morning - I think I have a pair of ladies Sorel boots that look like the TSV in my entrance hall closet. The only difference is mine are one color and don't have visible faux fur.

I tuned into the TV at the same - right at the beginning of the zulily commercial.

Well, @Bird mama I can tell you I was bored and whose fault is that but my own??? Later in the day I decided to check my favorite blog... Winterberry... and started getting inspired again! (out of the doldrums)

DH got on the job of clearing out and the two of us made decisions... now he is an angel to get into all the dust, but much of this I had kinda expected for him to do while I was still teaching.

The little ones had a busy day (it looks like) with the other grandparents.

They will arrive on Wednesday. Their mom and dad are going over to "the BIG city" for a freebie fancy hotel night while we watch the babies.

Needless to say... having things go slowly here was much more desirable than having any family drama.

I was wondering if you had any drama yesterday?? hmm??

DH saw our little adorbs in a "Jelly the Pug" outfit (Zulilly) and said "I don't get it" yesterday... "what is she wearing?"

I avoided all drama, lol. Yesterday, I stayed home, putzed around, did a little organizing and talked to my middle sister for a couple of hours on the phone. I wanted to hear her open the presents I bought her. My day was made because she loved everything I bought her. I have enough leftovers from my niece and new food that my sister sent home with me on Christmas eve, that I don't have to think hard about what's for dinner, lol.

My bird Poppi is not acting ill or anything but he is old and I really wanted to stay home yesterday.

I came home late on Christmas Eve (11pm) and my birds weren't happy that I was nearly 3 hours late putting them to bed. I also was on the phone that night till 2 am. Honestly, I got maybe 5 hours sleep when my birds awoke me on Christmas Day. I was tired yesterday.

He is 6 now, but in previous years he has been a bit crazy. He doesn't get as much play time as when we're here, but Bengals are high energy cats who need an outlet for that energy... OR ELSE!
