i had myself convinced that I did not need or want any new clothes. I had my large walk in closet stuffed. it was ridiculous. So I cleaned the closet out using a heavy hand. Made a lot of room in there and it is so nice to not be squishing my clothes. I still have way more than I absolutely need.So - now I'm not buying. Nothing at all. Then I see that darned QF and they forced me - honest - i had no control over it - they forced me to buy a Christmas t shirt. The one with the trees. Oh the guilt - oh the angst.( back of hand against forehead) if you can picture it - a force came out of the TV and started dialing my phone - the force used automated ordering - how does QVC do that?

In brick and mortar stores they have dressing rooms where customers try on clothes. Strangers have worn the clothes most likely before an item is purchased.

While a patient in a hospital have worn the gowns. Of course they have been cleansed acording to certain standards, but still worn many times.

You really don't think anyone has tried on the shirts you buy at Beall's? Especially the ones that have been in the store long enough to be on the SALE rack!

I have returned an item and it was back on the rack before I left the store!

Good heavens! How did this thread get hijacked from a fun post about Quacker Factory to doom and gloom about communicable diseases?

Some people can only afford to buy items from such as places as the Salvation Army and Goodwill. Those items are well cleaned before they're put out for sale, believe me. Even if you walk in with them dry-cleaned, they clean them again.

If you take towels or blankets to the local animal shelter, they wash them again!

Can we return to the original "fun" tone of this thread now? Don't let one silly poster derail it.
