Maybe Lisa's stylists should take a second look.......

I'm going to say this in spite of the fact that I know it will probably start an uproar that I'm "bashing Lisa" -- I'm not. I like her-I think she has a great sense of humor, she makes me laugh on her Monday night show, and she's a beautiful woman. But I think QVC has stylists that dictate her "Look" on certain shows, and from my point of view, they need to either lighten her tan on her body, or darken her face. I thought the last time I noticed this that it was just a fluke, but it's the same way tonight. Her tan is too dark to match the pink tone of her face, and it just looks strange. It's only noticeable when she's wearing dresses that are strapless, or show her shoulders and a lot of her chest. I don't think it's her fault -- as I said, she probably does what QVC's people dictate. I just wish they would look at this from the point of view of the TV - I checked on 2 or 3 different TV's and the computer screen-it's not as noticeable on the live computer broadcast, but it just looks odd on TV. Just my opinion, and I wondered if I'm the only one to notice this.......

There ain't no stylist telling the Diva what she's going to wear or how she's going to do her make-up or hair.....I'd ""bet the farm"" on that one.

Dear kittymom,

If I was your friend, co-worker, neighbor, sis in law, sister or friend -- would you be hyper critical of me? Opinions are fine, but you have to dig deep to be this hyper critical of someone you don't even know or about something that doesn't even matter.

Unfortunately, QVC has touted Lisa as their beauty expert. According to some viewers, the obvious beauty faux pas ( super orange tan, thick plastic nails and obvious lip liner) belie Lisa's expertise in the beauty category. So her credibility is questioned. Frankly, how she looks is of no particular importance to me, but maybe the Q should reconsider what labels they attach to their hosts, otherwise the whole package is up for criticism.

I actually think that most of QVC's on air personalities have the opposite makeup faux pas: dark faces sitting on top of pale necks with pale arms. Mary on In the Kitchen with David has often featured that, as well as Sandra and Shawn. It's like their faux tan is fading and they forgot to adjust their foundation, or they just opted for a darker face. It can be distracting at times, taking the focus away from the products. You'd think they'd have somebody behind the scenes checking that and making corrections before they go on air.

Lisa is my favorite host. Still, I agree that she has to do something about her tanned body and lighter face. She is toned and sculpted from her work at the gym. Why not ditch the faux tanner?

ITA. Plus, as far as styling--even on the models--it's usually just some big oversized scarf added.

I'm trying really, really hard not to emulate her, but some times, just seeing her forces me into unbalanced and uneven heavy self tanning application. I just must have whatever look she sports.
