topic Another complaint about shipping and the Q. in Fashion

I recognized that QVC has a fairly complicated structure of warehouses and central locations from which to initiate packing and shipping an order (although, no more so than Amazon). However, the turnaround time for processing and then receiving orders has been even more erratic than usual. Some orders have surprised me with the speed at which I receive them (the new Linea ponte knits for example were shipped and received in less than a week from the date of order) and others (the Linea ottoman and it looks like the new boucle topper for example) are super slow.

Don't get me started on the cost.

In contrast, others, much smaller and with far fewer resources, ship quickly and do it for free. I placed an order at 11pm Monday the 9th with ZARA for the faux leather jacket Courtney was wearing during PMS. That jacket was shipped FOR FREE and is out for delivery TODAY. My Linea topper, ordered the same day, meanwhile still sits "In Process" purgatory.

The time is long past for retailers to expect customers to have patience with outdated, ineffectual internal systems that impede fast, cheap delivery. Amazon will soon offer same-day delivery for a fairly large portion of their inventory.

QVC, modernize or become the dinosaur of the industry!!
