topic Help with WK pants... in Fashion

I was never able to get last years WK pants in any color. I do have the tarragon jacket, and I see that several sizes of pants are available in tarragon, but one is too small, and the rest are too big. (I feel like Goldylocks!). Does it seem crazy to buy the XL and try to have it taken in to be the equivalent of a small? It will also be too long! Thanks for any ideas!
