Wow! Evine giving measurements!

I was channel surfing and noticed an Evine fashion hour. I didn't see anything I liked EXCEPT for the fact that actual garment measurements popped up on the screen. I so wish that QVC would return to that policy. I know they'd have fewer returns if they didn't keep those numbers top secret, I know; I can go online to get that information, but we shouldn't have to go on a research expedition to find out what we need to know to make a smart purchase.

Jill B made a stink about NEEDING measurements back with presentations too late week when she sported the leather jacket tsv. She said she'd really strive to make this happen, especially chest measurements 'because women need to know'.

Meanwhile, she should have gone up a size (or two) on the leather jacket. No way would she have been able to zip it up. I like to see jackets zipped so I know what they look like closed as well open. Just saying, no bad mouthing here.

Evine gives a universal chart for measurements. If I like the item, I still prefer to go online and find the measurements for that particular garment. I find they vary greatly, even on QVC and HSN. HSN is particulary bad about giving any measurements - you rarely see it. And then they flash the measurements so fast you barely have time to see them.
