Does Amy ever wear shorter skirts?

I rarely get to watch Monday night, but when I do, she is in a much below the knee skirt. I think she would be adorable in a shorter length. The flat hair and the longer skirt just seem to drag her image down.

Amy frequently wears shorter skirts. I imagine you just never watch at the right time or often enough.

i TOTALLY AGREE I NEVER SEE HER IN A SHORTER SKIRT OR DRESS.SOMETIMES SHE LOOKS TERRIBLE.SHE IS VERY SMALL AND THIN,SHOULD GO SHORTER.

I respectfully disagree. I think Amy looks sophisticated in her longer skirt look. I do like that she wears high heeled shoes when she has on a long skirt.

Not all grown women want to look "adorable" all the time. Sometimes they want to be taken more seriously and grown up. I applaud grown women now days who can and want to look like adults. Isn't "adorable" an odd thing to say about grownups? It strikes me that way. . . But I'm weird I know!

What a beautiful, classic look. Amy would also look good in knee length with a dark stocking of some type.

The long skirt/ high heel look is not for a short person. the proportion is off. anyway it is a look from the late 80s/early 90s

I think Amy wishes she were tall and dresses in a way she thinks makes her look "long and lean." Many times when tiny women like Amy dress like she does in long clothes, they look like they have their mother's clothes on. I think she would look much more stylish, as she wishes, if she dressed in clothes proportionate to her very petite size. She often says she has regular this or that instead of the offered petites. Not proportionate.

If you are short, you are short, and no skirt length is going to make you look tall or taller. And anyway, why would you want to look tall? You stand by other people, and you look your height, whatever that might be. People will be taller than you. You are short! It's not a terrible thing.

Tall, short, old or young. . . how come people always want to be what they aren't?

I'm 5'1.5 and I like my skirts at knee length or just a tiny bit above. I do have one or two skirts that go below my knee that I wear with boots in fall/winter, but on the whole, I prefer a bit shorter. I will say that I'm 64 and I don't really care what anyone else thinks. I'm not out wearing mini skirts, but I just feel that everything needs to be in proportion to look good.

Amy is a perfectly formed petite woman and any thing she wears she looks good in. Amy certainly can hold her own next to those models and she does.

Totally agree with you Baker! I think Amy looks good in just about everything she wears. Does not matter to me wheether long or short, wear what makes you happy. I have seen her in quite a few short skirts and she looks great, just as she does in the longer ones in my opinion. I guess it's easy for us to judge not being on TV every day. Could you imagine if you had to be seen by millions of people each and every day? I know that is the career they choose but my gosh, we all have an off day every once in a while. How would you like for millions to see you that day and then make negative comments about it? Who am I to judge? Amy appears to be a lovely lady with a great sense of humor, a beautiful smile and a fantastic personality. She dresses professionally and appropriate in my opinion. By the way, I would love to be called adorable and I am 51 years old! Never too old for that compliment in my opinion.

Amy looks good in everything; she is a beautiful, happy and healthy young woman and dresses in what she likes or feels at the time. She even looks good in Logo. IMHO, Amy has the best sense of style over all hosts. She is not frumpy; wears her correct size and looks so sophisticated and chic when her hair is flat like last night. She really looked stunning. She is edgy sometimes with fashion but never funky or sloppy.

No professional sales woman should be aiming for "adorable". Children are adorable, not grown women.

Couldn't resist considering the thread regarding his too short dresses.
