Is plaid 'in" this winter?

I have seen more of it around than normal this fall. I just bought a black & red plaid top. I like plaids when done well, especially when they are on a diagnal on a top. Gary from denim & co says they are 'in" this year.

I have definitely been seeing a lot of plaid this year, both online and in stores. I love it! Have already bought a couple pairs of plaid leggings, and am looking for the perfect plaid scarf. It is a fresh take on an old standard, glad to see its revival however brief it may be.

I would think the lines on plaid leggings would go askew as they go over the curves of the legs.

@151949, haha! I catch your drift. I don't have a lot of curves to worry about below my waist, and I think choosing the correct size is vital. I posted this pic on another thread yesterday, but thought it might help to see what I just picked up. This could be a pic of my bottom half. I think I am safe from worry about them going askew (they are a thick stretch ponte).

I think we will see more plaid. I know Antthony's new items are suppose to be plaid inspired. Plaid is nice. I don't think it really went away. A nice plaid skirt is always nice

I like plaid, but only on top or an accessory. I bet @MaggieMack will rock those red plaid leggings...they're adorable...but I would only be able to wear something like that with knee-high black boots and a black tunic and then only if I step out of my comfort zone LOL!

I plaid. It says fall/winter to me. @MaggieMack I love your plaid ponte pants. They will be particularly fun around the holidays (assuming you got them in red). So darling!

It's by Joan Vass ... but I bought it in 2014. You might try to find in on the Bay, though.

Plaid is the one print I am not fond of wearing. I guess I wore too much of it in school uniforms when I was growing up. Some plaids are cute and some look too much like a lumberjack; just depends on the color and scale of the print.

In or out, I've always been a fan of plaids.

A pet peeve of mine, is when they do not match the plaid along the seams. It makes the garment scream CHEAP!
