What clothing brand most closely exemplifies your style in all types of stores/sites

Which designer creates the styles that always draws you in and speaks in the beautiful details, patterns, and colors? You love theirs the most and wished they would design what you need? You love most of their items?

For me, it's the iconic Ralph Lauren. Although I am an hour glass, I can usually make the tops I love work.

Love his quality and details. I can never get away from him!

Oooooo this is a really fun question. I don't have any particular designer but if there is a theme it is mixing up styles: a long feminine skirt with moto boots, a simple ponte knit dress with a leather jacket. Around the house in yoga pants and a sweatshirt with zippers or mixed textures. The only bottom line is that it reads as understated and not loud. I like the mixed style to do the talking -- if that makes any sense.

Like Kachina, for me it was the original Liz Claiborne.

I was also a huge fan of the original Coldwater Creek - the early years, not the later ones. I was lucky enough to get a beautiful hand-embroidered denim jacket from the flagship store in Idaho. It was pricey, but worth it!

casual: Max Studio, Orvis, LL Bean, Lands End

I own several Ralph Lauren pieces, but I'm reluctant to say that style exemplifies me because there are lots of pieces in that line (busy prints) that just aren't my style.

I have many..mostly it is Macy's own brands like, INC, Alfani and Style & Co. The QVC brands I favor are Susan Graver, Isaac Mizrahi and Liz C. NY!!

I really just love clothes, shoes, jewelry and enjoy being a girl!!...just an older one now!!

The original Liz Claiborne is my all time favorite. I don't buy any of it now. I still have a few pieces from the early 90's. I also love Ralph Loren, his southwestern prints draw me in everytime. There are a few others but I don't buy much because the prices are pretty steep.

I love Theory and Vince, James Perse tops, too. I scour Rack and Marshall's for them when I'm in those stores. Can't afford many pcs at full price.

Talbots. I can put just about any item from Talbots on and it will fit well.

When I was first married 50 years ago, I lived in the Boston area. I would go into their home store in Hingham, Ma. and browse, not buy because I couldn't afford, and long for the day when I could buy there.

Here I am 50 years later, I now can afford Talbots, and still love their clothing.

Hmmmm . . . My style is eclectic and wear a wide range of styles by a variety of designers and wannabe designers. If you went through my closet, you would not see many classics but a lot of avant garde, quirky stuff. I must have been a peacock in a previous life.

I am more of a denim & co type person.Even when I worked I wore scrubs so my personal wardrobe has always been mostly casual. I only need one cocktail dress for those rare occasions like a wedding or recently we went to a 50th anni. and a few nice outfits for church, though they are mostly pants.
