aren't excited enough to open it? Not only does S&H costs more for me but it takes longer too. I recently received the LOGO tsv and a tank with lace. Haven't opened the clear plastic bag yet. Already debating on returning them.

Gosh, no! I'm *way* too frugal to order something I don't COMPLETELY love and have already researched to be sure this is the actual item I want/need.

If you are already considering returning something you haven't opened yet, that's a sign you probably should have ordered it in the first place.

I sympathize. Since a lot of the clothing on QVC has inconsistent sizing, it is like gambling just hoping it will fit..... Many times the measurements given are off and different factories must produce the same garment in different colors and each is differently sized.

Since it now costs ten dollars to "look" at something, it makes clothing shopping here a lot more difficult.

I don't order that much, and I rarely need to return anything.

So when I get a package, I'm happy to open it!

As others have suggested, maybe the OP should cut back on placing orders.

I got a package a couple years ago from Hautelook. It's a large, modern carved wood-looking free form sculpture. It came in a huge box. I discovered in trying to open it that some nitwit in their warehouse had placed it in the box and poured in liquid styrofoam. It's as perfectly encased and preserved as King Tut's tomb. I've never gotten it out of the box.

I used to have a sense of anticipation when receiving a Q garment. Now it's more a feeling of uncertainty: Will this be another $10 down the drain?!

It's the law of averages that makes me usually shy away from ordering clothing from the Q. How many times do you take a number of garments into the fitting room at a B&M store, and have EVERY item fit nicely, and you buy every one? For me, not very often. Would you pay the store $10 for each item that doesn't fit?! I don't think so, lol.

I confess..I ALWAYS get excited to open a package that's been left for me! It's great to get home from work and find a "gift" waiting for me.

If you don't even want to open it, I think you might want to refrain from shopping for a while. Just an idea.

it makes me think you may really not have wanted this in the first place. maybe you were bored and that's why you ordered.

No. I don't order that much, so when I order, I know it's something I wanted.

However, shipping is soooooo sloooooow to this part of the country. Many times I get a package and can't remember what the heck I ordered. I open it and say, "Oh! Yes! I wanted this!"... kinda like a gift to myself :-)

Not neccessarily, ordering from the TV is not the same as going to the store where you can look and feel the garment first. sizing is always an issue.

OP has a point, things look different IRL vs TV

One reason why I only shop at the store, sometimes I ordered online maybe 1 time a year.

$10 S&H is cheaper than keeping a $50 top that I don't want. I have been shopping local more and more. And yes, sometimes the color is different IRL.

I am far more selective these days. If it is something I am looking forward to like a Ripka or Linea item, I check tracking every day. My AD deliveries unless I am out of something sometimes go unopened for a day or two.

If you didn't want it, why did you order it? I haven't had that experience, I'd be concened if I did. I'd wonder why I buy things I don't want. I thought you were going to say that a package arrives and you get excited because you don't remember what it is. That does happen to me. I order 2-3 things a week and sometimes I cannot immediately recall what is in the package. It feels like a present! I rip open the bag or box and I'm excited and of course, I always love what I bought...because....I bought it....lol

I've had days like that. Lack of excitement AND time. I usually try to remember what's in the package before I open it. LOL!!! Once in awhile I can't remember, then it's, "Oh yeah, I remember now."

Opened them up. Kept the Denim & co top, returned the LOGO tsv. Now I know I am not a fan of that brand. No need to watch those shows.
