Is she kidding? It's soooooo gorgeous and amazing? It's a striped top for $59.00! And that plum color with those print pants. I'm sorry for those of you who like her designs but IMO she's just too way out there with her clothes and much too expensive. You can buy a striped sweater/top anywhere and I'm sure it won't be $59.

Thank you for telling us about it. I looked it up (I wasn't watching QVC) and it look very cute. Love the colors. I really liked the black and white one. And it's available on wait list. Yes, $59.00 is a lot for that top so sadly I'll have to pass.

I like some of Lori's pieces and do own several of them - but I must agree it is getting too expensive now and lately the quality has not been so good Makes me hesitate to order before I check out other designers - e.g. ordered beautiful swing cardigan from Linea not so expensive and I know his quality is always good - so I am now doing more research before jumping to order from Lori.

I don't have a problem with the top.... but the combination was HIDEOUS. I can't believe a designer would try to pull that off! Stripes w/ print pants, at her age?? I suggest we TAKE AWAY her "Permission to Play". It's just getting too wacky!

Yes, I agree. An hour of sloppy dressing! A few outfits looked OK... but just looking at Lori with the stripped sloppy top with the wacky print pants AND heels (I think white??) made the ENTIRE show look sloppy. Sorry, but as another post said "everything DOES NOT go with EVERYTHING". AND, how many ladies can wear three or four layers of clothing. I know I can't!!!

All her shows are hideous. I don't consider her a designer, anyone could make the shirts she presents. They all look the same, she just adds extras onto them to make your butt and hips look bigger. She wears so many layers, and they usually don't match, it makes her look large and sloppy. I really don't know how she got her own show. All her designs are nothing but a fad and I can almost bet next season they'll be out of style but in the meantime she's laughing all the way to the bank with her ridiculous prices.

Sometimes the LOGO shows are fun, but I "passed through" a couple of times tonight and quickly moved on. Hated those pants in the multi-color splatter pattern. Thought the striped top was totally shapeless and unremarkable......not to mention hot for a July showing! And then came that ultra-long knit cardigan that made very petite Amy Stran look about three feet tall. Not to mention the "twist" chiffon trim that I hate every time it shows up. Makes me want to iron it or straighten it out or something.

Nope. Not a good night with Lori Goldstein.

I find the phrase "Permission to Play" ridiculous and insulting. Who came up with that? Lori? Again, "everything does NOT go with everything". Sorry ladies, Lor and Am... most outfits they put together look like bag lady outfits, mismatched, layers upon layers, things sticking out and hanging every which way... kind of like pajama's sometimes and PM Style has turned into a big, fun pajama party.

I was watching SYTYCD and switched over to this trainwreck during commercials.

The 2 of them sounded like Valley girls, airheads, Amy has a terrible speaking voice and mimics everything Lori sas which was bad enough the first time. QVC did the same thing with Logo that they did with WEN. Got people to be loyal followers at the beginning, then once set up bring in more and more junk that is all overpriced. Really who wants a closet full of cheap looking clothes that all look the same except for a sloppy last minute thrown on piece of chiffon , lace or polyester panel hanging from the bottom or *gasp* as godets?

Seriously, quality clothing? I think not and yet now that she is a big celebrity with her weekly show she can overcharge all day long and her fans will drink that koolaid. I see the same top tops at Burlington Coat Factory for 9.99 and often less on the clearance racks.

Yet I almost never see anyway walking around in those clingy, high-low tops. That trend was in B&M 4-5 years ago and most legitimate designers moved on since then.

Well said 60s girl! The show has become too "comfy". The next thing they need to do is open a bottle of wine. "Valley Girls" is very appropriate! First and foremost, they are at WORK. They need to portray a more professional image and use appropriate language (in this country, it should be ENGLISH). I didn't hear the often misused "she" and "her" referring to clothing, shoes and bags! Maybe I missed that, but that had to go! I can understand liking each other and being friends, even with the models, but when you are on the air, you are AT WORK, not at a slumber party.

Posters have been claiming that Lori's clothes are a fad and will be out of style "by next year" for a couple of years now. In reality, this style just keeps getting more and more mainstream and is being shown everywhere. And Lori certainly didn't invent it.

@Lipstickdiva, ITA. I keep reading on these boards that no one ever sees anyone wearing these styles, but I see women/girls of all ages wearing them all the time, sans layering. I went to about 15 stores yesterday and every one of them had multiples in this style. If you know what looks best on your body and know how to style it, they can be pretty darn cute. When I wear a kinda flowy/baggy top tucked in the front of my skinny jeans, the combo always elicits compliments.

Some of us like to think out of the box, and not look just like everyone else. We express ourselves through our style and fashion. If that's being "too way out there" then I'm sorry you lack the imagination to appreciate us. As for being too expensive, have you ever shopped at the boutiques that have unique clothing? That top would be $159 at least.
