topic Am I "overdressing" for work? in Fashion

I just started a new job and need advice on what to wear. The women in the office dress in things like slacks with button up shirts, sweater sets, cardigans with something underneath, etc. They look nice, but nobody wears jackets or blazers. Definitely no suits. Will I stick out if I wear a blazer/jacket? I don't want to "overdress" or look too "corporate". But then again, I always hear "dress for the position that you want." What does that mean anyway?

What do you think?
