Angel always says that she goes down a size in the dream Jeanne's pants, but mentioned several times yesterday that she was wearing a 1x ( her normal size ) in the skirt. And Maria had on an xl, when she usually says she wears a large.

I'm considering the skort TSV, but I'm sort of hung up between Small and Medium. I've looked at lots of the Dream Jeannes "bottoms", capris, jeans, etc. and many of the review "graphs" show they run large. If they do, I would probably order a Small hoping it wouldn't be too tight, but if they usually run true to size, I might order a medium.

If anyone has any kind of Dream Jeannes with elastic waist, can you say if they run true to size and if the waist stretches a lot? Thanks for any help you can give!

On 3/31/2015 Kachina624 said: It's generously cut. Could you estimate how much stretch is in the elastic waist (if you have any with elastic) - like does it stretch an extra 2-3-4 inches? That's my main problem - smaller hips and larger waist!

I have two pairs of Dream Jeannes and they are a size smaller than I would normally wear.

But, not sure if this would be true of the skirt. I have had two Quacker Factory t-shirts over the years, and they also did tend to run big.

I did notice in the TSV presentation that Maria said she was wearing XL and she always seems to wear L. I am taking a chance and ordering medium instead of small but I don't want it to fit too close. You can also read reviews from A251797.....pretty much same Dreamjeannes skort.

I have not bought QF in a very long time, but when I have, it ran true to size on me. I find it is somewhat over priced for an embellished T-shirt. The reviews are not that great, so I have not been interested in purchasing. I still like to watch occasionally, but no purchases in several yrs.

I find my dream jeannes are very true to my size small (5'4", 126lbs). These are the only items I have in this line as it's not my cup of tea. If I were to order one of these skorts, I'd buy small and would know it will fit perfectly.

I think a bit smaller in some cases but I would call it a more boxy fit especially on tops. I REALLY wish the models would always state what size they are wearing and what size they usually wear........IMO that important in making your purchasing decision.

Thanks so much to everyone who posted! I decided to go with the Small and cross my fingers. After watching a couple more presentations, I saw that the side seams are the folded over double stitched seams. If not for that, I might have ordered the medium with the thought that I could easily take them in if necessary in the hips, but those seams are just too much trouble and not worth the time. It looks like the waist stretches quite a bit (after all, you have to be able to get the skirt over your hips!), so I'm hoping for the best with the small. I ordered several colors... first time I've ever ordered anything from QF, but I really think these are cute and look so comfortable. I know I'm risking losing my shipping costs and I swore I never would do it, but, as the old saying goes, "a woman has the prerogative to change her mind!"

Here's my experience. Like all QVC clothing, it's nearly impossible to know your size!! I purchased three pair of the Dream Jeannes crop pants: the white fit perfectly; the khaki are a little snug; and the dark denim are huge, and they are all a size 10! Good luck! Roll the dice and hope for the best! I think the TSV skort looks really cute. I wanted the bleached denim color, but it's on wait list, and I will never purchase QVC clothing on wait list!

I don't get this "runs large" stuff. It runs true to size....for Quacker Factory. That's how people run into trouble with sizing, they buy the size they want to buy and not they won't use the size chart. Use the body size chart, not the garment size chart. If you really are between sizes and most people aren't when it's a letter size, consider how you want the skort to fit. If you want a close to the body fit, go down a size. If you want a loser fit, go up.

I think the skort is very cute. I have never bought this line myself. It is a thought to me today!

on the chart for sizing the measurements for small is 30"/31" & the click here measurement if I understand this correctly ( I never have been able to get clarification ,I did a chat with cs once but they did not seem to know)

titled 'waist circumference relaxed' is 28" which is the measurement of the actual garment with an elastic waist I think this means it would stretch from 28" to 30/31" ?

When I asked if QF usually runs large, I was asking because if you look at the reviews for MANY of the bottoms, including those with elastic waists, the line "graph" indicates that, based on the reviews, the garment tends to run large.

I've bought clothes from QVC for more years than I care to remember, and the overall QVC size chart , in my personal opinion, means absolutely nothing. If I go by that (which I have to assume one poster refers to as the "body size chart") I would always take a Medium. However, in real life, sometimes I wear a Medium and sometimes a Small, sometimes I have to size up or down within the same line, and I have even had to buy a Large in an Isaac sweater, and it's still snug. More often than not, the true measurements don't conform to the QVC size chart. And as to "most people aren't between sizes when it's a letter size", I have to differ. For instance, the chart says a Large bust is up to 42.5" but the XL starts at 44.5" -- what about someone who is 43.5"? Do they order a Large and a half?

I have the most success in sizing when I go by the Garment Measurements, and even then, many times the actual garment is not what the garment measurements show when I get it home and measure it. As one poster put it, it's always a roll of the dice. In number sizes, I bought the original How Smooth boot cut jeans in a size 10 regular (39" hip, 38" extended waist) and they are a PERFECT fit. The newer How Smooth straight leg jeans show exactly the same measurements, but I had to send back the 10 and size up to a 12 (hip size 40.5" and extended waist 39.5"). The 10 was much more snug than the original, and the 12 is slightly big, so I had to take in the hips a bit. (The Size 12 on the "body size chart" shows a 42" hip, which would have looked like a balloon on me!)

I looked at the garment measurements for this skort, and it appears that a small will fit, but if it is exactly what the garment measurement says, it might be a little snug in the hips, or not. After all, the original jeans with the 39" hip measurement fit perfectly, even though my hips measure 40-41". The "click here" measurements don't show an extended waist measurement for the skort, but it has to stretch enough to get it over the hips, so that part should be fine.

The dice are rolling...

Angel always says that she goes down a size in the dream Jeanne's pants, but mentioned several times yesterday that she was wearing a 1x ( her normal size ) in the skirt. And Maria had on an xl, when she usually says she wears a large.
