It does matter, because it's a disrespect to Lori to mispronounce her name. Amy knows very well that she's NOT Laura.

There is that promotional photo with Shawn and Isaac and Amy and Lori. Lori and Amy are sitting together. Amy is hugging Lori. You would think she would know the name of the person she is hugging.

She is saying "Lor", and Lori is calling her "Aim". Ick, it all sounds forced. And while we're at it, I had to change the channel when Amy kept saying she or the models needed to "climb into" another shirt because a color sold out.

Then it was a repeated slip of the tongue. If it were once it wouldn't be notable, but she kept calling her Laura during the presentation. As I said, Amy knows what her name is, so I'm wondering why she intentionally mispronounced her name.

I think she was calling her Lor as well. My name is Lori and most of my friends call me Lor. I don't see it as a big deal.

I love Amy but I do notice that she shortens peoples names. I did catch that earlier when she was on air with Lori. I hope no one ever corrects her on air. I have known people that take offense when they are either nicknamed or their name is shorten. But so far no one seems to mind. I do remember hearing Antonella once say on air please call me by my name that' on my birth certificate, the name that my mom gave me. She was sweet about it and was laughing when she said it but I know that there was some seriousness behind it. I don't know who she was speaking with but it was someone on the ear mic.

Courtney's real name is Angela but uses her middle name of Courtney on air.

Both Dan's are Daniel but go by Dan on Air.

Jacque is short for Jacqueline but goes by Jacque on air.

Jill is more then likely short for Jillian.

I don't think Lori minds or by now she would said something to Amy. You know Amy says she has a speech impediment ,so Lori's probably happy she got close to the right pronunciation.LOL
