Do You Think Carolyn Has An Extension On Her House

To store everything that she buys? Anything she presents, she says she bought and not only one of each but one in each color. Today she had a kitchen show and she owned kitchen gadgets and bought food. I do like her, oh and BTW, I love her new hairstyle, but I've never heard any host say they bought every single thing they present plus multiples. Well, If she does, I'd really love to see her house.

Carolyn may buy all that she says, she is super high energy and loves stuff, she makes a butt load of money and has an extremely busy and full life style.

Being a shopper like so many others here with lots of room and children and family to pass things down to when I tire of them creates mega shopping, it becomes a habit and hard to say no.

... and I so agree with you - love her hair cut but she has an amazing head of hair

I think that what Carolyn owns or what she does with her house is no more my business than what I do here is hers, even though she is definitely my favorite host.

I heard a caller ask David a few weeks ago if he had a big kitchen because he said he owned everything he sold on QVC. He told her that he did have a big kitchen but also had a big basement that he stored most of his items in.

And you still haven't. Sorry, but I'm tired of people exaggerating what Carolyn says. Yes, she does say often that she owns this or that, she's bought this or that, and sometimes especially with Denim & Co, she has multiples. I myself have multiples of a number of things.

But she does NOT say that she buys every single thing she's ever presented. My remarks are not directed only to this OP, but to everyone who keeps saying this same thing. It's just tiresome. The woman apparently has a large home, lots of property, an EXCELLENT salary, lots of friends and family, and if she buys a lot because she either wants to or needs to, more power to her! If I were in her position, I would most likely do the same thing!

Don't believe anything the hosts say --- they're salespeople!!!! I'm sure they own some of the items - given to them free by the vendor - so they can say "I own this sweater in 3 colors"; I own this vacuum cleaner (every week they show a different vacuum) - and, of course, that's the best vacuum. That's the best value for a vacuum. That's the lightest weight vacuum. Their mother owns that vacuum, their daughter owns the vacuum. yada, yada, yada.

I think the callers are smart - asking questions of the hosts, because they're sick of hearing about everything they say they own.

I agree! That caller was just trying to put him on the spot. Sounds like David handled it well.

Why would anyone say half the things they say about hosts on this board???? Jerks are everywhere, in all walks of life.

Well, I think she says she has a lot of stuff too. However, I probably have even more STUFF. I have finally stopped getting things, things. Ever since my husband died 10 years ago and I discovered QVC and HSN, well, it hasn't been pretty. I have the money, I can buy the stuff (I know all about the mental stuff).

Anyway, my friends and neighbors have enough QVC and HSN stuff they could open their own mini shop (I give it away). As I am here I have someone (a friend and neighbor) coming over again tomorrow to take away all of the stuff I obtained.

I never used it, I just liked it. I don't need anyone preaching to me about bla bla. Like I said, I've moved on to some other obsession.

So, if Carolyn wants to buy the moon and can afford it more power to her. That's the way I see it. Why not? It's her life and her business. When I get tired of watching any of them I turn them off. That's what I suggest everyone else does.

She dresses nicely and I recognize a lot of the clothes she sells, so maybe she has a closet (no make that a bedroom converted to a closet). At least she wears QVC clothes unlike some of the other Hosts while on the air. My guess is she wears QVC most of the time.

Well if others have said it, then what does that tell you? When she does Denim & co. Shows, she does say she owns probably every piece in every color. I never said I didn't like her or made a joke about her looks, or she didn't dress well or her makeup looked bad or she speaks too fast (as a matter of fact I think she has one of the most pleasant voices on the Q). It was something that I noticed about her every time she hosted a show especially Denim & Co. It's certainly not like the derrogatory posts now about Shawn and the constant hatred posts about Lisa when she was a host.

and no offense to you when I say that the OP was saying Carolyn's sales pitch is that she owns practically everything,and in multiples. It comes across as ,well disingenuous after a while. It's not about what she actually buys ,owns,etc.It's her sales shtick.They pretty much h all do it...at least the major hosts.

Sorry, but you must be watching different shows with her than I watch. I see just about every Denim & Co show she does, and she does say she has some things, sometimes a lot, and she does say she buys multiples, but she does NOT say she buys everything that she presents, whether it's Denim & Co or some other products. That is absolutely not true. It's great that you like her and don't say ugly things about her personally, but you continue to state something about her that is not true. It's just a little more overt way of insulting her, and it is just as derogatory to her as some other things that are said.

How do you like it when someone says something untrue about you?
