Lisa Robertson has a blog site and has created a blog about the G.I.L.I. line, link.

Her contract was coming up for renewal and my guess, the Q didn't want to meet her demands so Lisa gave it some thought and decided to allow the Q to go on without her. I think she made the right decision. It seems the Q has been cutting costs, the quality is no longer there while the prices have increased. The only thing keeping them profitable is the convenience for those who don't shop online, are home bound, or haven't B&M stores near by.

How do you know that her contract was up for renewal?

Somehow, the blog doesn't seem authentically LR's. Firstly, there are no photos of her and we all know how much she likes to post photos of herself. Secondly, the blog pages have no background... very sterile. The blog appears to me to have been created by an impostor.

Someone said the link to the blog was located on her FB page, so I doubt it was written by an imposter.

I don't think it was her idea. She stated that QVC ""came to her"" about the line. I certainly don't think she should have received any extra compensation for doing her job and doing what QVC (her employer) asked her to do. And I don't think she ""designed"" anything. She took items she already owned and copied them.

Right....on another thread a poster said they found the blog from a link on Lisa's FBook page. I agree with a poster on a different thread that said usually social media accounts with that many followers pay a PR service to write posts & delete negative posts they don't want so Lisa's probably not writing most of the posts herself.

What makes you think it was her idea? According to Lisa, it was QVC'S idea, not hers. She was compensated for the hours of work she put it.

That's old, old news. She said that many times. She even addressed it in one of her shows. GILI belongs to and has always belonged to QVC. She contributed ideas, opinions, inspiration but she did that as a QVC employee. A highly paid, professional. When you reach a certain level, such things are expected of you. It's part of the job. There is no additional compensation because anything that you "develop" while you are an employee of that company, belongs to the company.

No, I think it's hers. She posted a link from her FB page. There were mostly recipies and photos of examples of "fringe" in fashion today.

Compensated for what? She said she did it for fun. She had no financial investment so why would she be compensated. If that's what she wanted, she should have had a legal contract drawn up stating what percentage she would get.

Boy, could I go off on a current news tangent here!

But I agree, that she did state this often, though things get twisted and turned so that the story is far from the original.

I should think her compensation would be the wonderful experience she got and prospects for her future.

Good golly, people. The blog is really Lisa's because she posts links to it herself on her Facebook page and does write the posts herself, both on her blog and Facebook.

Sure the blogs hers but you have no way of knowing if she writes all the posts.....most celebs with that big of a following pay somebody to manage & write, you can google it.
