Not really, but I feel that way. I mustered up the nerve to wear my purple and bright red flowered dress to work, with a pair of Born Teirney taupe platform sandals and the black acrylic/nylon shrug. (I just had to cover up some of the pattern, some way some how.)

I am a person who usually dresses in one color, always black, navy, gray, or brown, from head to toe. I don't own any light colored pieces that I wear to work except for a few older Talbots sweaters.

One of my more mischevious co-workers saw me standing in the kitchen getting a cup of coffee. He exclaimed out loud, ran up and grabbed me, tried to twirl me around like a square dancer, and planted a kiss on my cheek. (It's OK, we have that kind of work relationship.)

He says it is much nicer look than "all one color ruff and gruff."

I don't know if I agree. Who knows what will happen when I trot out the Phoenix print blouse. I was planning to wear it later this week.................................
