Having wide feet myself, I do wish they made more shoes in wide widths, and surprising the shoe manufacturers haven't caught up with the times. I realize people with narrow feet have the same problem, but it seems like the average woman these days does have a wider foot. I live in Florida, so I solve the problem easily with thong sandals, but finding closed toe shoes in wide widths for those occasional cold snaps, or just wanting to wear something other than sandals, can be a challenge.
