Crops/petal pushers/ankle length..HELP

I would like to find the name for my favorite length. I hope you can help. What is the difference between crops, petal pushers, ankle pants, etc" I like a length that hits at mt lower calf. Is that a crop or a petal pusher??

Ankle length is the longest -- at your ankle

Crops are next shortest -- probably what you're looking for

Pedal pushers are shortest -- typically right below the knee

If you're looking for a casual look, I would suggest crops that can be rolled. That way you can adjust them to your perfect length.

I like crop pants the best but they are becoming harder to find so last spring I bought regular pants that are ankle length and I cuff them to the exact crop length that I want (about 24-25""). Cuffs are in style so there's no need to hem them.

And capris are right in-between pedal pushers and crops.

From my understanding, by QVC measurements, a cropped pant has ~23" inseam, capri has a ~21" inseam, and pedal pushers are ~18" inseam.

I think you mean pedal pushers don't you?

Pedal pushes are to the knee..cropped are between

the knee and the ankle and ankle-length pants hit

you right at the ankle. My favorites are cropped pants

of course in a myriad of colors in knit with an elasticized tie

at the waist.

I like ankle pants or ever so slightly shorter. I'm the one who calls the ever so slightly shorter ones 'Capris', just like they used to call them Capris when Audrey Hepburn, Mary Tyler Moor, Jackie O., Gidget, etc. were wearing them...........Anyway, I like the word 'Capri'.... sounds classier than the others........lol.

I'm not very tall but have long legs, so what I wear is in between Crop and Capri! LOL!! I love ankle pants and "capris" but not so much what is called crop in the picture just above.

That's a crop pant. Pedal pushers are the shortest, coming just below the knee. Capris are midcalf, and crops are just above the ankle.

great explanation: In my case I have to modify it a bit. Only 5 feet tall. I like all these choices however. Never a need to worry about LENGTH.

I have been interchanging crop and Capri. Going by the picture, I prefer ankle and crop.

I am still going to call them Capri though. LOL
