topic Quacker Factory - 100 Percent Cotton? in Fashion

To the QF designers, what is up with your 100 percent cotton disparities? In the Fall of 2012, I bought A225813, the QF holiday motif shirts with the fleece vests. The shirts were 100 percent cotton and were wonderful. The cotton was light, soft, very pliable, and so comfortable. I wore mine through most of Dec and Jan. Last week I ordered A230605, the glass medallion shirt. I missed the on air presentation and went back to watch the video before ordering, but it has been taken down for some reason. So I took a chance, based on the description that it is 100 percent cotton and that it is a relaxed fit, and I ordered. It came yesterday and it is nothing like the other shirt that I purchased in the Fall. This shirt is a much heavier material and really stiff. My normal size is really tight, especially in the chest area. It does not give at all. It's unfortunate beacuse the shirt itself is absolutely gorgeous. I don't understand what has happened to this line. I used to order so much when Jeanne was alive, but in the past year or so, I have ordered very little. I am frustrated that the fabrications and the sizes that I could always count on seem to have disappeared. Between the predominance of 3/4 length sleeves being offered in the heat of the summer and now this lack of consistency in materials and sizing, I may have to give up QF altogether and enjoy the older clothes that I bought from Jeanne, (which still look amazing, BTW). I was hoping that that the line could continue without Jeanne, but I have serious doubts now. Maybe she really was the magic behind QF! If anyone knows the reason behind the differences in cotton, please advise. And please don't tell me to go to anyone's Facebook. I don't have one, nor do I want one!
