Missing Joan Rivers

I was watching the Joan Rivers fashion spot the other day and still love her clothes, but it sure is not the same without her. I, for one, really miss her. RIP Joan. Hope they continue the clothing line.

I do too. She was so vibrant and full of life and energy and her passing was such a shock. But I'm very happy to see David carry on so beautifully... he's a class act!

I really miss her also and today Melissa posted that her and Coopers' dog passed away.

Even if I did not buy anything, it was always fun to tune into QVC when Joan Rivers was on. Not only was she amusing, but she always shared great information about fashion in general. I also miss her on Fashion Police. She had real information as well as the gravitas to discuss fashion. Kathy is okay, but not as knowledgeable as Joan.

David Dangle does do a good job discussing the clothing and jewelry, but I am sure he misses her also.

I miss her too. Not only was she an expert in fashion, styling, etc., but her love of life, spirit and energy were good for all of us to see. Rest in peace, Joan--you are missed.

I LOVED the way she spoke to us! ""You know how..........."" she'd say! No one can ever take her place. Such a beautiful person! ( I wish that sometimes the humor hadn't gone over the top in her performances.).

It was sad...I ordered a JR scarf the other day on lunchtime specials. I watched the video presentation with Joan and sadly reflected that she is really gone.

I agree. It has become more evident just how much we miss her and how much we all enjoyed her. I do also wish she wouldn't have gone over the top in some of the things she said because I feel she didn't need to. But I would just shake my head like Melissa would do and move on. What I particularly liked about her is the way she sincerely cared about people and if they were in a good place. She opened her arms to new friends while keeping old ones. She gave not only money but her time to charities and things she felt were important, like family and friends, and of course her QVC family. Yes I know she was there to make money of course, but she seemed to really take an interest in the goings on around her. David must feel empty up there selling without her, and I at least wish Lisa were there to sell her line with him again. Shawn just did her job, but Lisa truly loved Joan and had a depth of feeling that was missing the other night. Thanks for starting this thread Nanette, sometimes it's nice to share stories about Joan again. She will be missed a very long time I'm quite sure.

Multiple losses are so incredibly difficult. A very sad time for everyone.....

I have always enjoyed Joan but like seeing David on now and listening to his stories as well. I will continue to watch and hope they keep bringing the line to QVC.
