Mr. Rebates

For years, I've submitted my purchases to Mr. Rebates and have gotten my rebates like clockwork. Suddenly about the middle of December this stopped, and despite a number of purchases on BOTH HSN and QVC, my rebates ceased. Anyone else having trouble? I purchased Bob Mackie yesterday and it's not on my Mr. Rebates account.

I had so much trouble with THEM KEEPING TRACK that I went to EBATES instead. They give a bit less but they never seem to make a mistake.

I also have not seen any rebates yet from Mr Rebates so I too will go back to Ebates. They pay.

Mr. Rebates pays...I've collected over $4,000 from them, but not lately. Something is wrong somewhere.

try switching your browser and then sign in to see if that helps. you can also request a manual rebate and as long as you have the information and they can see the click through then they will adjust your rebates.

i have not had any problems with them.

I never had a problem with them until recently. It was for a large purchase from Bloomingdales so I noticed it when the rebate never showed up. I filed a claim with Mr. Rebates and I'm waiting to hear from them.

I've been having the same problem with them. They post some, and not others, so I've had to submit a claim to them, and then wait for them to adjust my rebates. I don't like to have to constantly oversee them. You can't submit a claim until 30 days after your purchase, but no more than 90 days, so if you don't stay on top of it you will not get the rebate. But since they pay twice as much as the others I haven't bothered to switch.

If switching browsers will fix it, I'll try that.

Thanks for the ideas. It's a real chore to have to file about 10 claims but the browser could be the culprit. I'll change and see if that helps.

There was a time that I had lots of problems, but currently they are going through just fine. It definitely could be your browser. Mr. Rebates also told me not to be shopping at the Q, then go to some other site to look around, check prices, etc. then come back to finish shopping. Now I don't even have any other windows open when I am shopping with QVC. I am always careful.

Does Ebates take as long as Mr. Rebates to make the rebates in your account accessible to cash in? I have credits that are still pending for purchases I made in August! Seems like too long.

Try using ShopAtHome, they offer a 110% rate guarantee, so if Mr R has 10%, and SAH has 9%, they will give you 11%. They also offer very prompt CS, you do not have to wait 30 days to ask for a missing rebate.

I tried Mr. Rebates for a while these past 3 months but found that more than half the time I never got credit for my purchases. Went back to Ebates last month. Way better. I've used Ebates for a very long time and never had a problem.

I have switched browsers. No improvement. They may pay more but it is not worth it for me to track them down every time I buy something. Not fun. I will stick with ebates and the other one shop at home I will certainly try. Thanks

I had problems with Mr.Rebates and HSN. I had many orders that were not credited and had to go back into my order history and request the rebates and the CS was prompt but also informed me there was a time limit to request ""manual"" rebates and made a big deal about making an ""exception"". haven't used them in a long time.

I just received one from Q today for a Wen purchase yesterday. When I don't receive my rebates I email Mr. Rebates & fill out the claim form & they have always added them to my account. The info. does have to be listed in your click account summary showing you did click through Mr. Rebates before shopping. I used to always get my rebates from HSN on all my Andrew Lessman products & now sometimes I get them sometimes I don't. It's HSN not Mr. Rebates. If you don't receive your rebate you have to wait for 30 days to see if it shows up but have to request it by 90 days if it does not. I use IE 11. I have not had to file a lot of claims but seems to happen more during the holidays.

Mr. Rebates has told me to always make sure after clicking through their site to make my purchase & not leave the site to check on other things. Sometimes I do that. I always open a different window though so I would not think that matters. Sometimes I have to look for a coupon or copy & paste gift card codes from my email. Now I always make sure I have what I need before I make a purchase. They also told me to use the same device when making a purchase. Sometimes I use the desktop sometimes the iPad. I don't know why this would make a difference. I don't think the problem is with Mr. Rebates but the place you made the purchase from. I don't know if the place you made a purchase from has to do something first or exactly how it works. I would think there is more to it then just clicking through Mr. Rebates first.

I use Mr. Rebates and I actually watch and wait, if I don't see my credit posted after my item has already "shipped" then I make a note of it, after the 30 days if it still hasn't posted I get it corrected with them manually. Most of the time it always post once the item has shipped. I've even gotten credit for an item or two that I cancelled, so I watch that too, sometimes it can take them 2 months before they change it over to $0.00

Shelbelle........When using SAH, how do you get them to give you the higher rebate percentage you mentioned above, do you email them each time you find a higher rebate percentage, being given elsewhere?

I found out that you cannot use easy pay on purchases through Mr. Rebates ... so when I check out on QVC, I make sure I do not use the easy pay option ...

I have never had a problem getting my rebate on QVC or HSN using easypay/flexpay. They give me the rebate based on the entire amount of the order, not just the first easypay.

What Mr. Rebates will not do is give you a rebate on each and every monthly easypay amount.
