Need Help with Magazine Refund

I placed an order for a top on HSN that comes with a subscription to Lucky Magazine. Normally I send in and get the refund for these.

There was no card included in the package with my top and there is nothing on the item page to print out for me to get a refund either.

I called CS and they said they'd send me the postcard but I have a feeling I know how that is going to go.

Does anywhere know where I can get the information for the refund. Usually posters here have a link for that. TIA

Was this for the Serena Williams colorblock sweaters? I had the same issue and I wrote cs- they sent me the address to request the refund.

At first I was glad to receive their semi fast reply (1 business day) - but to see a link posted that provides the needed info?? !! oy, oy, oy....

I did have a card to send for refund but to date - and it has been about 3 months now have never seen a refund check. Great scam for Lucky magazine mine also was Serena Williams product.

I really and truly HATE that thing. If I order something as a gift, the magazines are sent to that person and it's on that person to cancel. That's no gift, that's a burden to the person who didn't want it.

And if it's really free for us, why is there an $8 refund if we don't want the magazine?

They need to give us a way to opt out when we place the order. At least give us a way to opt out online instead of making us mail something in like it's 1999.

Here is the info. I copied from HSN site when I bought something. It was not clothing but I'm sure you could use the same form.

One order I placed with HSN I also did not receive the card for the magazine refund. When I called CS they placed that amount as spendable cash. That was fine with me as I did not have to hassle with the refund. Maybe call & talk to another CS agent.

I'm lucky I don't have to watch my money down to the last penny. I just donate the ones I don't read to our local hospital waiting room, dr.'s waiting room, or St. Vincent's. Fighting for these refunds is an aggravation I just don't need. Self magazine sent me copies for two years beyond the normal one. That mag is totally useless unless you are into working out. Allure, Glamour, In Style, those I welcome.

Ibb38, it was for the Serena sweater. I just received my second one. I had no problem when it was the TS. That came with the card. This time, nothing.

I get a ton of magazines already one of which is Lucky. It's really not a favorite of mine so I have no desire to have extend my current subscription.

I've decided to not purchase any item that has the Lucky magazine attached in the future. In my experience, you only can get one refund. So if you reorder the item, you get stuck with the magazine subscription, which I throw unread into my recycle.

just a fyi......when they are having the TS there is always a link to the refund offer on the item page. i always make sure to print that out the same time i place an order so that i have it all ready when my item comes. sometimes i keep the subscriptions, sometimes not. i have never had any problems getting a check back.

Why does HSN even do these magazine add-ons? It sounds like most people take the refund. I've done it myself a couple of times as a matter of fact.

I have honestly never bought a single thing simply "because" it had a magazine/refund offer with it though. One time I let the magazine come but when it ran out, I didn't renew it so they never made money off me that way.

No doubt there is something I am just not getting here.....I mean, I can see how it benefits me if I take the refund. I just don't see how it benefits HSN or the magazine. Unless HSN buys a certain number of subscriptions so the magazine doesn't lose out and factors it into the item cost, which doesn't make sense either.

It's not worth the hassle; I take it from the mailbox to recycling bin. Will never order anything else that comes with some stupid magazine.
