Burbank Kate I know you live in Burbank, and am hoping you can help. If anyone else can answer this question I would sure appreciate it. I travel to Burbank,CA or pass through it a lot, visiting. I live in NoCal. There are about 10 or 12 strangely unique cottage type homes all in a row, each with a private yard, on Hollywood Blvd in Burbank. I have wracked my brains trying to find out the history of these homes. They are small, and have odd angles, and distorted roofs or windows. They are all dolled up, but so strange (cute but very odd). They remind me of little cottages you would see in Babe (about the pig), Snow White or , or a cartoon. They are old I know that. 1930's?? Although the front of homes face Hollywood Blvd, it seems the far back lot of Warner Studios might be on the other side of them. I never get to slow down and look.

I have searched online, but obviously am not using the correct search words. Could they have been used in the movies at one time? They are privately owned now I can tell.

When I went by there this week coming from the airport I had a driver. He was so fast and horrible, I didn't get to see the cross street clearly where the homes were located. But it was near a street that was like Heller, Helfer, or something like that.

Can you answer this trivia question? I am anxious to know

Thanks!

Shoe
