QVC, what is up with the Logo by Lori Goldstein???

I have been ordering from QVC for years but the fashion is going down a road that I am not fond of, especially Lori Goldstein. Almost everything I have seen, I would never be seen wearing out in public. The looks are sloppy and definitely not what I have previously seen on QVC. When I see her on, I turn the channel.

It's probably best that you do turn the channel when Lori is on since her style is not to your liking ~~~ hopefully there are other designers on the Q that are more pleasing to you.

Yes, there are others that I really like. She is definitely not my style, seems like more for very young girls. Seems kind of odd for QVC to have someone like her on since I feel most of the people watching are a little older.

It's not just Lori, that sloppy, layered look is everywhere. Look around you in stores and magazines. It's very trendy and will probably not last long. It's expensive clothing to wear as a fad.

I agree but I am surprises with QVC for going that route. I am a very fashionable woman, wear suits to work but dress in nice jeans and tops, vests, scarves for casual.

I very much disagree that all of the layers is the style. It looks sloppy. Uneven hems are found out there but are not prevalent and when they are found they are not layered. The shorter moto jacket is a style that is found but that is a far cry from things like LOGO. This is nothing against Lori Goldstein. She seems like a very nice person and is obviously very successful.

I don't care for her styles either. Would not be flattering on me at all so I don't order. Also, the fabric appears very thin and the prices are not inexpensive.

There are plenty of other options on QVC if you don't like Logo. I don't care for many of the designs I see on qvc, but I don't feel the need the criticize what I don't care for. I buy lots of LOGO and it is not shapeless or sloppy on me. In fact, I get lots of compliments on my clothes.

I really liked her last TSV. I bought 4 of them. You should try her tops, they are so soft and comfy with great style. I recommend the rayon/span fabric.

I've checked the measurements on some of her items and most seem to run a lot smaller than other lines. Do people size up on these things? Are they very stretchy?

She drives me nuts, with her pigeon toed standing and then clapping the clothes between her hands. She has perfected a nice week end look, but it isnt a life style, where do they get off???

Ha! This is what she slumped around in when off duty. Now she is trying to make it into fashion. That diaper tank thing was a men's tank she used to wear. She's no fool. We are, buying the stuff, thinking it is some kind of style. She combined the uneven hem trend with the layering look she wore when not dressed up. She put a tunic over a men's tank over leggings. Now she's making $$$$for it.

I did not find anything attractive about her TSV. I don't think that the longer sides on her cardigan are attractive on anyone. IMO that style is not attractive and never has been. Then most of the girls were wearing a long tank that hung below the cardigan. Sorry but that look is not attractive to me and her clothes are way overpriced. Some of you love her products. Happy that some of you find them attractive. IMO they are not attractive and are way overpriced.

Kachina: I ALWAYS size up with LOGO, actually I prefer to bump up 2 sizes - I've found the garments to be tight in the bust if I don't. Love everything I've purchased from Lori.

I agree with kat7. I am not a fan of the Logo style. Not attractive at all. Lori mentioned that she had 3 layers on the other day. Why?? Very sloppy looking. Just sating.... My opinion.

To each his own. I wouldn't buy a S Graver item ever- a cheesy look imo. While the LOGO look is not for me, it clearly sells.

We were on a flight returning home and a woman in her early 30's

wore a pair of expensive boots.. ($1200.00) and a top that look

like she salvaged it.. We were all in First Class.... and we were all

dressed with the usual jeans or slacks with sweaters... (boring to

some)... She had on a top with a knot tied on one of the peaks

that hung down and the right side back she turned up another

"peak" and pinned it to the center back.. So we saw the back.. On

the return from the bathroom we could see that she made 3 gathers

on the front...

The woman on the other side of the isle from me uttered.. "What

the He//"

My 2 daughters did not mind her look.. They said that they would

not wear it, but saw her as an individual who was doing her own thing.

They have Linea for that. They can't just show one style of clothing. And Logo is not just for young women. I heard quite a number of calls from women who said they were 50, 60 and 70 that like her clothing.

I agree with Irish1210. We can always change the channel when we see something we do not like. We all have different styles, taste and body types. I happen to like LOGO. I really like the fit of her leggings. I just purchased a fourth color, even though the price increased (before they are discontinued). I am one who buys multiples of what I like. I get compliments on my LOGO outfits as well, but I buy them because of how I feel about them. I don't care for D&Co. or Susan Graver for example, and I just watch something else until the shows end. Lori brings in different shades of color and does a heathered finish with some of her designs. This is different in a good way IMO. Yes, some of her items are too expensive. Unless it is just something I want for a certain look, I take a pass. The same can be said for several of the other designers, like Isaac Mizrahi. I like some of his cardigans, but I think some of his prices are much too high for what you get (I wait for clearance). I don't size up on LOGO. I am a Medium/38D. The tops are designed to be fitted in the bust and to flow away from the body from the bust down. If that look is not for you sizing up may or may not work. Some tops may look too slouchy. It's trial and error if you have a larger bust and smaller waist/hips.
