Honestly, I don't understand why QVC would allow jeans with holes in them to be worn by a host. It may be a style to wear out if you're meeting your friends but certainly not as a hostess. Love Amy, but come on!

I don't think it's a big deal at all. She's young and it's a fresh look. She's promoting a product meant for young women (instawave). It's not like she's a news anchor, it's home shopping!

I adore Amy, but don't think it's her best look. She's so tiny and with the jeans rolled up ~ not so much.

It's what's in style and isn't she free to dress in what she likes? I guess if she were wearing a polyester suit from the 80's you would critique that also and say she's out dated. Good grief. People have different styles! Does it really bother you that much?? If so, then simply pick the remote up and use it!

Nobody is picking a host apart. I agree that ripped jeans are not appropriate for a presentation on TV. Jeans are fine; ripped jeans = no.

Jane is not a banker or a concierge at a country club, she's a TV show host selling style items. Jeans with holes are stylish. While QVC doesn't sell them, it indicates that she's keyed into what is stylish now. Keeping up with that kind of thing is very much in her job description, so that does make her trendy jeans job appropriate.

I think Amy looks adorable.......not crazy about the rolled-up jeans, but she's probably selling the foot tool and demonstrating it.........anyway, she looks comfortable and stylish and she's just so cute that she can get away with anything.......

I think she looks adorable. She is dressed for casual, and the products she presented sort of needed jeans (I love that scooter!).

I was watching, and I thought to myself "I actually enjoy her shows. She is light, and funny, and she does a good job with the vendors."

I don't know why I have not seen much of her? Could be me watching less, or was she on nights more?

I enjoyed her today.

I agree with you. There is nothing appropriate about wearing torn jeans for anything other than casual downtime.

I don't think the OP was "picking the host apart." It's only a comment and we've all got a right,right? This is a forum. I didn't like the look either, and Amy is one of my favorites. Just because I didn't like what she was wearing isn't a personal attack on her,it's just a personal opinon of clothes,not her.

Didn't bother me at all, but DB wasn't too crazy about the look/style. I never did like the holey jean look, but I'm in the minority, for sure ! That style is very popular.
