Sigh. Are cropped tops coming back?

I thought cropped tops were a charming relic of the early Britney Spears era but am noticing them cropping up of late. Was watching General Hospital and two of the actresses were wearing belly-baring tops and today surfing Zara saw cropped tops there too. Not as short, but still showing a belly button.

Yes it has been a trend I have seen coming back for awhile. Taylor swift has been wearing them quite a bit. I don't think it will last long.

It is a young trend.... no matter if it does come back in style... no one over 25 should wear such a fashion... and I think even if you are very young... why would you want to bare your belly? It just looks very skanky and trashy. Asking for trouble. Just because Taylor is bearing it all, and Miley as well, it does not mean that everyone should.

Thankfully, I don't follow trends and have a generous supply of tops that I won't have to worry about what's in the stores.

I only wear black or indigo ... and I have lots of them.

As long as you have a flat stomach & toned abs I don't have a objection to them. It's kind of like wearing a bikini & being out of shape.

I like crop tops that come to the high hip with long maxi skirts, or with longer slim Ts and leggings. Anything that bares the belly button should be worn at the beach only, and only for the very young.

It's been back. Seen them with a gathered skirt, which looks the best I think.
