Yes,you can return to a store. I hate the disdainful looks I get when I return something and I am not a frequent returner! My Chico's have the b******* women working there. I shop online to avoid them!

My town got a Chico's about a year ago. The ladies in there are very nice. But I have shopped out of town in the past and some of sales women can be a bit snooty. Seems to swing from very nice and helpful to ignoring me! I still shop quite a bit online.

Yes you can return to the store.

Sometimes if I have a return I return to the store sometimes not, I'll just mail it back.

I am becoming more and more comfortable with shopping online and mailing in my returns ONLY. I hate dealing with sales people in the stores, especially when you have a return and you have to explain why you are returning something. And can I help you find something else? NO just do the return I don't have all day to stand here and gab.

I don't want to be rude to any sales people but I really don't want the small talk when I have to return something. Just process my return, be polite while doing it, I'll do the same and let me be on my way thank you. Sheesh.

Does anyone else find that Chicos takes a long time with crediting returns when you mail it back to them? Love the boots Abrowneyegirl! I just ordered a similar pair only they were red suede with a touch of leopard. On sale and then I had a 50% off coupon. The deals seem much better online! I hope mine fit too!!

I thought it was just my store with the snooty sales staff. And I really do hate their stupid sizing method. online for me and returns at store if need be. And ITA...just process the return.

I'm pretty sure there store takes a hit on their numbers when things are returned. Probably why not so friendly...just a guess..stores need to make their numbers..lots of corporate pressure like any sales job... Jmo

Just have to share this related experience. It took me a half hour to make a return when the wrong item was sent to me. details: My local Chico's ordered my correct size in a pair of lavender capris last summer since the correct size wasn't available in the shop. When the Chico's box arrived at my door, it contained a gold tee shirt, not my capris, and not in my size. No big deal...everyone makes mistakes. But when I took the tee back to my same local store, it took 5 minutes to understand what I tried to tell them, and then another 25 minutes on the phone trying to straighten this out. Nuts? You bet. I had expected a very simple transaction and maybe a congenial laugh among us over the shipping department's mistake. Nope, instead a federal case. What a nuisance. It cooled me to the Chico's brand, so I rarely shop there now.

OMG! Do you both live in western New York? I am AFRAID of those ladies in the store! I have mailed back returns for fear of that look and the comments!

I make my DH do my Chico's returns to the store. Sometimes he makes me go with him but I hide in the car! LOL

I am a major spender at White House Black Market and used to be major with Chico's. The service in the Chico's store is just unbearable for me.

I shop online for EVERYTHING! If I do a returns at Macy's with an online purchase, they are so nice. Same w/ WHBM and JCP. But I shudder if my Chico's items don't work out. Unfortunately, lately...nothing has worked w/ them.

We have a really nice store with the most friendly helpful staff. I used to buy a lot of clothes at our store until they decided to stop carrying petites sizes. I'll shop online but I don't spend a lot at Chico's like I used to.
