The high low hems, the asymmetrical hemlines, all copying LOGO. Interesting how SG breaks from her traditional frumpy liquid knit styles to try and grab some business from Lori.

The OP was talking about D&Co and SG just now getting into the assymetrical hems, a few years after LOGO had them. It wasn't that long ago SG was talking about how she didn't like fussy pointy hems, now she's doing them because they are the fashion now.

Those uneven hemlines have been around for awhile. There are also plenty of t-shirt fabric tops with the lace or chiffon trim at numerous retailers. The SG line has always copied what is most prominent in the market. When SG talks about what is trending, this is what she means. I usually stay away from what is trending.

Nothing new about asymmetrical hems. They've been around and around and around, so Lori can't claim them for herself. Seems to me her best claim to any originality comes in her layering -which I don't like on me and maybe her color choices which I do like. Lots of times, I think Lori is trying to give QVC an Eileen Fisher look at a much, much lower price.

For me, the more Susan there is, the better - and that's good for QVC, too. When Susan goes, I probably won't be buying anything clothing at all.

It would be great if they brought more in with all the designers.

I'm a little sick of liquid knit, so I would just ask that Susan keeps giving us other fabric options. More woven (like the popular Henley top she recently brought), more cotton/span, more French terry, more premier knit..you get the picture.

OP , everyone copies either another designer or is inspired by architectural details . Many have just come out & said they copied their design from an expensive NYC store / magazine ad . LR said that often when at the Q , when selling her line . Some of the real jewelry designers , like Hagit Gorelli , get their inspiration from their environment . I've never heard Hagit or Barbara Bixby et al , say they copied another's idea. They're true artists .

I don't mind the hi-lo tops in the D & Co line but the other ones with too much material around the bust down is not a very good look on anyone in my opinion (along with all the layered looks that makes one look like a "bag lady").

And really I don't like clothing that is paper thin like Lori's and you can notice that even on the racks when presented (but that could be the reason for all the layered looks which is downright awful looking, even on the hosts). They really push this look on the customers and when customers get the item home (it is awful looking on them) and it is sent back.

A lot of the other lines on QVC are copying the looks but like I said not interested in the ruffles in front and back that make you look even bigger (these are made for thin people).

All this trending I really don't like -- remember the "sack" dress and too short dresses and hot pants they wore in offices.

I don't care who invented them or who copies them but I don't like them. I just don't see how 2 points of fabric hanging down on your hips makes anyone look slimmer (which is what I always hear them say about those hemlines.) I always get a puzzled look on my face when they say that.

Everybody copies everybody nowadays in fashion. The only designers who truly create new fashion ideas are the ones who have such kooky runway shows that their outfits would never be worn in the real world.

The hem lines are ok. However, LG styles add 10 lbs. or more to the appearance of the hosts and models. I do not find that attractive or desirable. The layered look does not appeal to me unless it is for warmth. It is extra clothing expense and extra laundry. Everyone has their own style and should wear what they like. However, this fashion style is not my favorite.
