Sorry helping, but YOU are the one who is wrong. Linea is a latin word and the pronunciation for the "i" is a long e sound as in "seed" and the ending "a" sounds like a "u" as in syrup. LDO himself says it the same way Lisa says it.

I would pronounce it Lyn - a - ah. Is the OP pronouncing it Line e ah? That doesn't seem correct to me at all.

Yes. I heard him say that some time recently and I had always wondered how it was pronounced because I've never watched a show, so didn't know.

If I were Louis and I cared - as soon as I heard a host pronouncing the name differently from the way I as owner do, I'd use the name in my next sentence.

Try it sometime when you want to "correct" someone - it's a technique that makes observant, caring speakers think. In this case, however Louis wants that name pronounced, he has to be his own producer!

I live where there is more Spanish spoken than English. The OP has mispronounced the word. In Spanish, the word linea mean line - and it is pronounced "lin´e-ah" !!
