I've been looking at this for a few weeks.

Recently bought some very inexpensive turtlenecks at Kmart (of all places). I wear this around the house in the fall and winter. But the LL Bean top would be nice for going out since I am always a bit chilly even with a jacket.

Have you bought one?

I have not, as that's part of my resolution this year. I personally like the modal ones from Land's End, because they're thin and tight- good for layering!

Part of your resolution this year for 2014 is not to buy any turtlenecks? I think that is the most specific resolution I've ever heard and kudos to you for sticking to it, 2014 is almost over! I have to ask what is the rest of the resolution?

I like that one it's almost a cowl neck. I sometimes can wear t-necks depending on fabric etc. I usually look for cotton blend tnecks, so I don't get too warm.

Lands end and LLBean both make great turtlenecks.

I like that one! I don't wear turtlenecks but I like cowl necks & similar ones.

i think that that is technically a drape neck rather than a turtleneck.

i dont buy turtlenecks or mocknecks anymore......i stick with cowl necks.

Ralph Lauren Chaps Misses sized turtlenecks at Kohl's online. Bought multiples of the same color on sale. Thinner sweater knit top than usual for me but fits well, quite stretchy and neck is comfortable. Got a great deal. First markdown at half price then another 30% off. Less than $19 each. Free s/h on $50 + purchase. These are for casual wear nothing fancy. I find the Land's End modal a bit snug in the neck. My favorite was the cotton cashmere turtleneck from Liz Claiborne when Isaac was designing there. Best fitting, stretchy knit turtleneck I ever had. I tend to like knit closer fitting turtlenecks than looser cotton ones with floppy necklines.

That's cute, I like it. I don't like "tight around the neck" turtlenecks.

They feel binding and uncomfortable (and I am not sure they are very flattering to my neck when they are tight either).

I don't think I would call that a t-neck. It is really petty. I do not wear t-necks cuz my neck is so short.

Just googled that on LLBean and they are calling it a cowl neck and it is around $40.00. But as I said it sure is pretty.
