Bravo David!!

Now that my eyes have dried a little I just wanted to say that you have always been a gentleman who shows class, elegance, grace, refinement, kindness and compassion. Today, more than ever, you took it to an even higher level, if that is possible. I cried and I laughed at all the memories and I do look forward to seeing you going forward. I know Joan was watching this show from up above and I am sure that she was never more proud of you than she was today. Thank you David for showing such warmth and compassion.

Agree....I still cannot feel Joan is gone. David did a great show with Jill.

What a lovely post, OP! I totally agree! I would think this first show especially must have been very challenging and sad for David, but he did wonderfully in all respects. He is a true gentleman, and I am sure Joan is still very proud of him.

Suggestion to QVC - Jill and David are the perfect combo to carry on this line. I didn't get to watch the show, but seeing the class of both and they will continue it in the best possible way.

I have to agree with everything that has been said. Jill was the perfect choice. She always has been the consummate professional. David is such a respectful and classy man. Perfect for the "Classics Collection". Although think it will be hard for him to be on air all the time plus run the business. The tribute was touching. But who touched me the most was Rick. To me, Rick has a "stage" personality and his real personality. Over the years I've read posts about his parents, children and they show his real side. They ended the tribute with his emotional words which were fitting. QVC hit the perfect balance on all aspects.

David and Jill did a FABULOUS job today on QVC. I'm sure it must have been very heart wrenching for them.. The show was just the right touch of memory and of course, seeing all of Joan's clothes & jewelry back again makes me so happy. I know it's with a heavy heart David and Jill presented the Joan Rivers Classics Collection today. David, you have so many people backing you and I'm thrilled you're representing Joan's Collection.This was the perfect tribute to Joan. Take care..continue success...many blessings.

I agree, what a wonderful show. The emotion was evident, very close to the surface in my opinion, and I found my eyes filling with tears again and again. I'm glad they'll be continuing the line and I hope it does well. If they can maintain the same quality of design and products, I think it will continue to be successful.

I watched part of the show and felt it was very well done. The photos and video tributes were poignant. Bravo! Not an easy thing to accomplish.

I was able to order the 2014 ornaments and picked up my first jacket. For those of you that wear JR clothing how do they run. Jill kept saying true to size but so many of the lines run differently. I ordered the faux leather quilted jacket which is numeric sizing but on the click measurements they looked to run large but I know there isn't going to be stretch. I am between an xs and sm depending on the line and went with size 4...hope it fits!!

I missed it because I thought David was going to be on at 6 pm but I did catch the last few seconds and saw very little of the video when Rick was remembering Joan.

It was a lovely show and David and Jill were so sweet together. Although there was a palatable absence, they filled the loss with warmth and heart. It was so nice to see Joan's line displayed again. It was comforting somehow.

I think by talking about Joan throughout, made things special and gave Joan the respect she deserves and made us fans feel that her touch and care for the items will always be there as we move forward without her.

David is such a gentleman. I love his presentation and down-to-earth style. Jill's professionalism and kindness complimented him well.

Thanks QVC for bringing back our beloved Joan Rivers Classics Collection.
