Is B Makowsky being fazed out?

I've noticed that there are fewer shows with Bruce. His wife is gone....is he next?????

I have 4 of Bmakowsky handbags, and do like them. I have not had any trouble with his handbags.

The old adage is "Leave while you're still on top." I loved BMak, and his later designs did not have the pizzazz of his earlier pieces. I will miss Bruce, but wish him well!

That's unfortunate because those are or were my favorite designer handbags. I loved the compartments on the inside as well as all of the pockets on the outside, particularly the phone pocket on the outside.

Yep! I loved the Makowski bags when they first started, but then they started to look the same and I hate bags that puddle, especially when looking for something.

I took some clothes and a BMak handbag to the consignment shop the other day. The bag was in perfect condition as I had rarely used it. They refused to take it. Nuff said.

Both he an his wife, KVZ sold their line to a huge company overseas. This was a couple years ago. I think he and his wife represented their bags for the new company a while, then they totally left.

I think KVZ is being phased out on ShopHQ. It's all on clearance. I don't believe she ever appeared there in person to present the line.

ShopHQ probably got a deal from the new owners of the line on what was left. Bruce and Kathy have been purchasing foreclosed mansions in California, the last I heard. Do a search. They don't do bags anymore.

I've always thought many of the bags were beautiful, but I was too scared to buy one after so many had trouble with the dye bleeding onto their clothes.
