I LOVE THEM....and use them all the time.

If you love close to a TJ Maxx or Marshall's they have the best prices for cubes. I use the space saver bags to pack my dirty clothes and keep them separated from the cubes. Also consider getting the new hard sided luggage. It's great that it open and you can keep your cubes on both sides of the luggage. They claim the most bed bugs are in the dresser drawers of hotels.

DH & I will be doing regular travel after 20 years vacationing in a travel trailer, so I'm a bit rusty with packing. Have been looking @ E-Bags brand packing cubes from their web site. I see lots of good reviews. Anyone here have experience with these, please and thank you?

I have used both packing cubes and spacesaver bags, and I like the packing cubes better. I used Eagle Creek's three piece set plus one medium Pack-It garment folder for a 1-week vacation to the west side of the state in early June, and was able to fit everything in a Vera Bradley tote bag.

Love them. I have several sets and have also given them as gifts. I wait for the sales and then I buy.

Experience: They organize my stuff and then I can find what I am looking for. I color code so blue is for hubby and red is for me. I clump together like items, such as underware and pajamas. It is a bit more bulky than stuffing socks in shoes but at least I can locate things quickly.

I use cubes and envelopes and love them both for various reasons. When I travel, I put workout clothes in one cube (with the shoes), casual clothes in another, airplane clothes in another, work clothes in one, if we're going out to dinner, I'll have some other outfit in another one.

As the trip goes on, I change them into clean and dirty.

Love packing cubes. Have set from R. Steves and they save me lots in baggage fees. Set comes with small, medium and large and I can easily fit into carryon which comes on the plane with me. Take it off the plane when I arrive and no waiting for the carousel to pick up my bag. Whenever I go to my daughter's in MN, this is my travel system. I have also used on two trips to Italy and they really organize and streamline your packing. You will love them.

YES! I use them for a short weekend trip or a 3-week European trip. I like the ones from eBags because you can color code the different sizes. Make sure you measure the luggage you're taking to maximize how many and what size cubes you'll need. They work great in your carry-on bags as well. I always use a couple of the large ones that I've emptied on my trip for dirty clothes. Makes doing laundry so much easier when I get back home. Love that these have handles, too. My husband resisted them for a couple of years, and now he's hooked as well.

The cubes are great if you want to put the shoes in with an outfit (I also have shoe bags) and the envelopes are great to put an outfit in and slide it into my laptop bag to change into before leaving work for the airport.

The cubes are also good for charging cords and stuff for your carry on.

I have a cube with stuff that I need in my rental car (car charger for my phone, phone holder to use the navigation feature on my phone, wipes, tissues).

I will be using them for the first time in an upcoming 4-day trip. I plan to pack each day's outfit in a separate bag - including underwear and socks. That way I just have to pull out one bag each day.

My husband and I happily use 3 medium navy eBags brand packing cubes and 3 small ones in turquoise since the summer of 2012. I think that I used an online coupon- check retail me not. I use the packing cubes while traveling and at home. I don't travel more than a couple of weeks a year. I really like them as they are a nice organizational tool. Packing is easier now. I am considering buying another set of each.

I have the ones from ebags too. The set that contains a s, m & l. I use the s & m sizes the most and love them. Unless you are taking a really large suitcase for a long trip, the large sized one becomes too big and takes up 3/4 of a standard carry-on size. Happy packing!

I use packing cubes from the Rick Steves web site. They keep my clothes contained so it's much easier to pack than doing everything individually, which may come unrolled during transport. They come in a pack of three, of varying sizes.

I never understood the vacuum-seal bags for traveling. I have some for storing clothes between seasons, but I don't use them for traveling. Of course, some people swear by them. I just never knew how they could always find a vacuum to compress everything on the way back from their trip. If you're in another country, for example, the housekeeper (what is the PC term?) may not understand what you're trying to say. But that's just me.
