Ok yes its a great product but to give as a gift? What does that say to others? You stink? Not what I'd want my gift to say.

Sure, how about putting together a nice gift basket with this product & a roll of nice TP, some of those wipes (you know what I mean), oh, & some Prep-H. Every time they use it they'll think of you.

There is another thread that started a bit ago a poster needs help thinking of a gift ideal for a friend who has ""everything."" Bet this product would work. I was shocked the fist time I heard of it too.

I think it was the holiday day recently that I saw an announcement of an hour of poo-pouri products being featured. I didn't tune in, but geez, SOMEONE took this idea and really ran with it - all the way to the bank!

You sure got that right! Seems to me like the same thing could be accomplished using those scented oils sold at crafts stores, etc.

Every time I see this product it makes me laugh. It makes me laugh even more that this is considered a gift item, which makes it cost more. I've seen it at stores in the decorating or gift depts. Talk about successful marketing. Wow, but guess what? It was lost on me, so nice try.

It says get that Poo smell out of the potty room. I have never tried it. Since they say it works I think it would be great for all those housed they show on HGTV that have a bathroom by the kitchen. Yuck. I don't know why they would put a bathroom by the kitchen. That's just nasty IMO.

It's a great product! I've gifted it a couple of times and it was well received….and with good humor. Without fail, those who received it wanted to know where they could buy the product. And given that Christmas stockings are usually for close family members, sounds like a great stocking stuffer gift idea to me!

DH and I would be perfectly happy if Santa left us some Poo Pourri. The stuff works and that's more than you can say for many products. I'll take any fragrance, so just send yours over if you don't want it.

They pushed it big time as a gift idea last year. Many people would be hurt or insulted to receive this as a gift. Very poor choice I think.

I think it is a good gift for the a*n*a*l retentive types with no sense of humor :-) A great but useful gag gift. I cannot imagine how they can talk about this subject for an hour. Too funny!

Actually, the "Pourri" company has expanded their line. They also offer a shoe odor repellent spray, room deodorizer, sachet, etc. Sounds like a growing company.
