Anyone Still Stuck in the 90's? (Temperature Wise)

Today's temp for me in Texas was 97 at one point. So it's hard to even look at long-sleeved items. Especially those made of fleece.

Hard to imagine needing a coat or even a jacket.

How's the weather affecting your purchases?

I keep thinking we are going to get our late summer here in San Francisco, where September is the warmest month of the year. But instead it's been in the 60s :/

I'm in South Florida, we are still in the 90's as well! I keep seeing jackets and other items that I love, and have to remind myself that I rarely have a reason to wear anything heavier than a sweater. That's why I moved here from New England!

We had no winter at all last year. I never put my sandals away - wore them every day.

It has been very hot here and this week it has been humid, which is rare for us.

I can't remember the last time I wore boots or a coat. I won't be buying any.

In CA it's still hot and will be through the end of October. It's the most miserable part of summer for us.

I was thinking same thing. But where I live weather can change rapidly. Now it's in the 80's, next week forecast is 60's high and lows in the 40's. So I'm ready to start thinking fall clothes!

I'm almost finished with my closet switch. I left out a few things in case we have a warm day.

I'm ready for cooler weather. It's 64 degrees this morning.

We had few days 90+ this summer.

It is not unusual to get humid days in the mid-80's into October in NJ.

It's still in the high 80's to mid 90's and humid here in SC, but we get a few "teaser" mornings this time of year with temps in the mid-60's.

I bought a very pretty Linea blouse last week, but it's long-sleeved and a heavier crepe fabric...so I tried it on to make sure it fit, and hung it in the closet to wait til October! I've gotten a few lighter-weight long sleeve tops, too. They are also in the closet...just waiting.

I am sooooooo sick of this Fla. weather! We have been in the 90's here in central Fla. since MAY!!!!!!!!! Thanks to cloud cover and rain, we may only make high 80's today,,WOO HOO. It is so difficult to watch the cute clothing being presented knowing they just don't work here. I have been wishing someone would make tank tops with Christmas theme. They would sell like hot cakes!! I've been here 9 yrs and can only remember 2 Januarys when we had a freeze. I do have a few things for cool weather but they are mostly worn when I visit friends up north, LAYER, LAYER, LAYER.

I never switch out my closet. There is no reason for me. Most of my tops are 3/4 sleeve because they are more flattering on my "old" arms. I do put up the capris about the first of November. I have several nice long sleeved tops that come out of the cedar chest in about Nov. All I have to do is wash them--and there is the winter wardrobe! Coats and jackets are in a closet by themselves.

I heard from a friend in the Colorado Rockies. It's cool, green, and enjoyable! I was envious.

The weather here in MA finally turned on Sunday. In the 70's and no humidity. We finally could shut off the a/c. The bills were crazy. This is perfect weather to me. Still not into Fall clothes and will wait to see what I have left over from last year. I do know I need some new jeans. I hate looking for the perfect pair. Being petite makes it more difficult.

Yep. Supposed to be 98° today but Fri after the cold front moves in it's supposed to be 67°. They said on the news people would have to use their heaters & jackets for the first time. LOL!!! I won't be wearing a jacket or turning on my heater. It will be a welcome relief. I have my AC on 72° right now.

Yes, still very hot here in AL, kids have worn shorts on Halloween before, but then again it has also been cold!
