Who from QVC went to Joan's funeral?

I miss you Joan! I was wondering if Lisa, Kathy Levine, or anyone else from QVC was present there today! Rest in peace, lovely lady!

As I said on a similar post, I believe the funeral service was by invitation. Not sure if there's a published guest list.

Too much sadness, and crying on these QVC posts. Joan would not want this. Its time to move on, IMHO.

I read it sort of worked in reverse, in a way. Joan gave Melissa a list of those who are banned from attending, a secret list. Search it, this is a public fact that she had a secret list of those, not allowed to go to her funeral or services, given in private to Melissa.

So maybe they had to check arrivals based on who cannot go? Wonder how they did this, considering it would seem very odd to "invite" someone to a funeral as you suggest.

I don't think it's necessarily a refusal to move on with life to wonder who might have attended from QVC... but let's face it, none of us has any idea whatsoever how the guest list was determined and short of what appears in the media, who was on it. I did read where any number of luminaries were calling to request the opportunity to attend... Who they were calling is unclear. I suspect that in the coming weeks, we'll be hearing more about Joan, her life, her funeral and hopefully what ultimately caused her to be taken too soon.

I am so grateful I was able to attend Joan River's funeral today along with 5 of my favorite friends from QVC. There were tears, but there was a lot of laughter, and Joan would have been very pleased. Many Joan stories were told that were so funny, but then I would be jolted back to reality that there would be no more Joan stories made, and it would bring me to tears. The bagpipers from the NYPD played Amazing Grace at the end which gave me goosebumps, followed by Frank Sinatra's song New York, New York played by the bagpipes! It was the perfect ending to the celebration of Joan's life! We are all so blessed to have known her and to have laughed with her all these years.

It may not be time to move on for some, talking about the event, and about Joan can be very therapeutic for those that miss Joan very much and are grieving, we are all different and must respect that.

Great pic! Feeling sentimental! I did both my parents memorials invite only, and both inlaws who died three weeks apart, was family only.

The finality of what a person did or who they were is hard to accept. When MB said there would be no more Joan stories, I thought back to my mother in law who created and gave many hand made one of a kind gifts- I am not a crafty person, but I always admired her projects ( knitting, quilt making, re-finishing furniture, ect). I realized I would never get to admire any more of her in-progress projects. The parts of the service where the bagpipers played choked me up a bit. RIP Joan

Nice photo of everyone. Perhaps they will talk about their experience there in time. That was so nice of them to attend. It was sweet that they wore some of Joan's jewelry. Very nice tribute to her.

A funeral is in many ways a celebration of one's life and accomplishments. ..not all sadness.
