He has partnerred with Xcel Brands and the article on forbes states he doesn't even design some of his stuff. Is this true?

There was an article about it in the NY Times, Isaac doesnt do the designing since he sold to them

I clicked on another article and it says he will still be the chief designer. His merchandise will be available at other retail outlets. It won't effect his Bergdorf collection supposedly. I shudder about this though. Look what happened to the Liz Claiborne brand. Ugh! I know she was dead, but still.....

In one article, they named some designers who did this and then bought back their names because it wasn't working.

Isaac sold his brand to Xcel in 2011 so any changes would have been evident long ago. Xcel also owns the Judith Ripka and Liz Claiborne New York brands on QVC.
