On 8/23/2014 coco14 said:
I have never ever liked LOGO and have posted that many times in the past. In all of my working career I have never seen one woman dress like that - young, middle-aged or old (my age). Nor have I seen anyone in NYC (Kathleen, I apparently have missed seeing you in the Village) wearing this type of clothing. However, now that Denim & Co and Susan Graver have jumped on the bandwagon, we may finally be seeing the end of this trend, as so often happens when something is overexposed. I truly hope MaryBeth is not hosting a LOGO show today, as the last time she did, dressed in LOGO, she looked dreadful. Other than perhaps Shawn or Courtney, few show hosts look attractive wearing this style.

I have to agree with you about MaryBeth ... the style just doesn't work for her "look" or personality.

I've used that expression too. I find her clothes beyond sloppy-looking. I know that we Americans have been criticized for opting for comfort over style but this goes too far. There are plenty of comfortable clothes out there that are more flattering than this.

And it is so expensive, I have seen similar clothes in stores for much less money.

I have seen LOGO pieces that did look good on a model if it was NOT layered with 10 other pieces! So I think it might have its place used on an individual basis, but definitely not styled the way Lori obviously wants to style it on everyone, including herself.

I thought women always wanted to have the "long-legged" look - we do have a tendency to think women with long legs look good - me, I'm not model-thin and I don't have long legs. The way Lori styles these pieces, especially with a drastically different color like black on the bottom, makes her and some others look like they have very long bodies and very SHORT legs. It's just an odd look to me. And I still think most women should NEVER wear leggings, JMHO!

One piece at a time, maybe yes. All these layers, definitely not. I could afford to lose a pound, or five (), but I have thin legs, and I don't need all these layers to make me look even bigger from the neck to the hips, and look like I have short "stick" legs.

The Logo haters are a cranky bunch of people. What fun they have discussing how much they dislike Logo. These people are people who think they are educating all of us about what is fashion but they don't know fashion. Unfortunately, they don't get it and never will, don't want to have fun with their clothes, don't even know how to, and don't realize almost every piece of clothing Logo puts in a program sells out. The words bag lady has been overdone, is trite, insulting, boring to read and those who like Logo predict that the term will be used every time Logo is on. Go away if you don't like Logo and let those who love it enjoy it. I am tired of the naysayers who have this high and mighty attitude about things they do not understand. They cannot accept something new and different and lovely. I love the hues, the softness of the fabrics, and fit of Logo and have had about enough of the stupid bag lady comments on this board.

I think it has its place, but not the way Lori styles it. And why would you assume that those who don't care for this particular style on their own bodies don't know how to have fun with their clothes? There's plenty out there to have fun with besides LOGO! And that they don't "know fashion" -- well, I beg your pardon. LOGO is NOT the only "fashion" out there.

And no, I don't think anyone should be told to "go away" if they don't like something. This is a discussion board, and everyone is allowed to comment on what they want and to say what they want, within reason. Do you remember the definition of "OPINION"? If not, maybe you could make use of the dictionary. Can any of you "LOGO lovers" say that you've never made a snide comment about any other line of clothing, like Denim & Co or Susan Graver? Those two get lambasted on here as much or more than LOGO. I like some of Susan Graver's clothes and some of Denim & Co, and I'm tired of people talking about how "matronly" they are, and they're for "old women", etc. etc. etc. But I don't tell people who say that to "go away".

And for your information, one of your LOGO lovers also LIKES Susan Graver --so I guess she and I have something in common in our "fashion sense"......

So enjoy your LOGO pieces, it makes no difference to me. Just don't tell people who have a different opinion to "go away" - I doubt that you are the be all end all fashion expert here! If you are, give us your credentials!
