Review of new Ponte jacket

I had this jacket shipped ups red so that I could make an exchange before it sold out. Fantastic jacket, great quality. Based on Louis' comments I sized down. I usually wear a 16. I have the brick red jacket in a size 16 and it is very fitted, but I love it. I have the ikat jacket in a 16, and the recent animal pullover in a large. They fit perfectly. I am surprised to say that the 14 was the right size for me. I am narrow shouldered and the jackets are generous, the 16 shoulders would have overwhelmed me. I can button it without it pulling. It is a semi fitted jacket on me and I probably won't layer over sweaters. Love it. For me, sizing down worked. Check the click here measurements and remember it has a lot of stretch. Highly recommended.

You laugh! The Pants are 100% Silk! And the Vest 80% Silk/20% Cotton!

Thanks for review. The two I ordered are on their way. I stayed true to size because I wanted as an outer ware jacket and for layering. If I guessed wrong I'm going to be sol...as I think they will sell out in my size.

Excited to get them....love LDO ponte...LOVE the material.

Received my super ponte jacket today in black. My first impression - heavy! This is not a light weight player in my wardrobe literally or othewise.

Took a chance and ordered a 12 - fit perfectly. Very pleased with the simplicity and class of this item.

I will wear this a LOT here in Seattle area and next year when I relocate to my homeland of Texas, it will be outerwear.

I would love a 24" skirt in this fabric...Louis..are you reading this? I have two Ellen Tracy skirts in gray and black ponte in 24 inch that will have to suffice until I get an LDO one!

Lucky to have ordered this early!

I ordered a 12 based on the chest measurement. I hope it fits. I have narrow shoulders so I hope it won't be too big. Living in Northern CA, I will probably wear this for outerwear through the Winter. Might also work in the office since it is usually freezing in there between November and March. Keeping my fingers crossed since the size 10 in black is long gone. Wish the leggings were longer so I could wear them together. It should work well with the Ponte slacks I already have. I agree that a 24" skirt would make a great outfit.

I have the original Roma Ponte knit short skirt. And the drawstring tunic will go really well with the new leggings.

Mine just came tonight. I'm very glad I ordered my regular size 16. It's long, I needed to make sure I could button it down through my hips. Perfect fit. I love the weight of this and the stretch. First cool day, I will be in it.
