SG clothing is getting very boring, plain and matronly-so long....

What's with all the basic, solid color knit clothing, Susan? Boring, stuff you find anywhere. Sooooo disappointed in the direction your clothing is going. I have closet(s) full of your beautiful liquid knit prints, but sure won't be buying your line any longer if it continues to evolve like it looks like it is. Nothing unique about it, and so very old looking.

I must be dreaming. I thought people were complaining recently about her prints. I like variety…both prints and solids.

I've been wondering who was buying all those prints. Glad to know it was you, grandma C.

I don't buy her things anymore. I don't like the prints and the solids are the same as I can buy at Belk or Dillard for considerably less $$. I do have a few pairs of her petite pants as they fit me better than most brands. But that's it!

I agree. Even though I didn't buy anything form her on Fashion Day, I thought it was refreshing to see some solid pieces.

I'm not a fan of most prints and prefer solids. However I really don't care for her liquid knit...too much hot slippery feeling polyester which reminds me of the 70s. I prefer a cotton blend or some other fabric that has a nice soft against the skin feeling. I tried Logo and the fabric was really nice I just can't wear those long asymmetrical hems.

For me, slippery pieces are necessary. I layer and don't want fabrics that cling to me or each other.

It's a "you can't please all of the people" situation, I think. Whatever you do, someone will be unhappy and the unhappy people like to share. I'm sure I've made my fair share of complaints about something someone else loves.

If you believe the forums, everyone hates Susan Graver because her clothing is poly, too expensive, too long, too short, too matronly, too something. But clearly it's selling or she wouldn't be on QVC every week. The people buying it just aren't the people posting.

Me, too! I actually find her clothes to be very "classic," with just a touch of whatever is trending..which is the perfect balance for me. I really don't want to jump on every fad that comes along. I prefer to purchase what looks good on me--and that's almost always clothes from Susan Graver. I am loving her new Fall/transition clothes!

While I'm not a huge fan of liquid knit, in defense of this fabric it's great for the gored maxi skirt. This has a good weight and just flows as you walk. Really a nice piece. But she is coming out with a new fabric..some kind of woven and I'm looking forward to seeing it.

How can someone who calls herself grandma criticize matronly clothing? Lol I disagree with your post. These clothes are not my style, but I would never call someone out of touch with fashion that chooses to wear them. SG is a successful vendor on QVC, which means many other women disagree with you as well, and like the direction she took with her designs. Easy solution - search out a retailer who carries what you like.

Well I think she has a good variety. I wouldn't mind trying some of her things but a) she doesn't design for the petite woman and b) there is so much polyester. Still, I would try a few if the sizing came in petite.

I like plane, simple, and elegant. I don't like Susan's prints - not scaled properly for all types. Huge florals and paisleys in awful color combinations . Her jeggings are not matronly, just late on the scene as they've been out for around two to three years.
