Please remind me how to dewrinkle leather.

I know this has been discussed in the past, but I have forgotten the remedy. My Black Leather Jacket has some wrinkles that need to come out. Thanks in advance.

Ironing leather on a low DRY setting through a brown paper bag will release most of the wrinkles.

Thanks, I'll try that. I'm wondering if anyone has tossed in the dryer on a delicate/low setting?

I don't think it's possible and even if it were I wouldn't recommend it. What's wrong with a few wrinkles. We all have them.

I put mine in the dryer on low for a few minutes until the leather heats up a little (it will be warm to the touch) and then you can smooth out the wrinkles with your hands. Personally, I would not try the iron because I don't know what effect it would have on the lining. I have a ton of leather and suede jackets and have had very good results with the dryer.

If it doesn't work the first time with your hands, try it again and put it on your body before smoothing. Then let it hang out for awhile. Some wrinkles are more stubborn than others.
