Animal Instincts tights

Holy SMOKES. My BF looked me up and down after I put them on and was playing with different outfits and said, "Honey, do you love as good as you look?" which is of course from the Bellamy Brothers.

I ordered black and grey (going back for the neutral) and right out of the package I knew these were something special. The pattern is subtle and doesn't scream "animal" or even "print" just a high-low shading that is so flattering and looks like $$$.

You see lots of patterned stockings in very expensive European brands and on the runway for fall this style of hose was trending. So it makes sense that Linea would bring this to us.

Don't even hesitate to try these; this is just the thing to take your WK dress (coming) or Linea skirts and WK sweaters to the next level. Just beyond chic.

I agree 100%. These tights are fantastic. Like nothing I have ever seen. If you wear tights you must get these. I got all three colors. I wasn't sure if I wanted the taupe color, but after seeing them on the show I loved the way they looked, and I'm happy I did.

Great review! Can't wait to try mine on today. I was torn between a B and a C, so I got the C. I used my Emjoi pedicure machine on my feet today and lathered with cream as I do not want to wreck these tights with Crocodile feet! As soon as I verify the correct size, I'll be going back for multiples.

WOW! They sound so luxurious! Ordered 2 each in the Black & Gray - and several in the Opaques!

I'm glad the Animal Instincts tights worked well for you. I ordered several pairs of tights, and have received all but the gray tights (they were recently shipped).

Unfortunately, I had a problem with the Animal Instincts tights. That package had a label showing it was opened for quality inspection. I was very careful about opening the package and inspecting the tights (I even wore thin gloves, so I wouldn't snag anything). I noticed a hole next to the crotch. I called Customer Service to tell them what happened, and was told to return the tights and mark them "defective". If the tights were inspected, I wonder why they didn't see the hole.

I really think I'm going to return all the tights. I have quite long legs, and I also have a disability in my right arm and hand. I think the tights might be too hard for me to put on. I didn't try to put on the Animal Instincts tights, but I really don't think tights will work for me (I haven't worn tights in several years). I hate returning the unopened packages (2 black, gray, navy, brown), but I think it's the best thing for me to do.

Well, I came home after watching "The Hundred Foot Journey" (great, by the way!) and having lunch with my cousin; and I decided to try on a pair of the black tights in the 2-fer. I have them on now with a Linea black pleated skirt, and I like them a lot.

I just got frustrated with the hole in the crotch of the Animal Instincts tights (especially after being opened for "quality" inspection), and hastily decided to return all the tights.

So, I'm going to keep the regular knit tights in black (2-fer), navy, brown and gray. I'll just return the Animal Instincts tights, and mark the return "defective".

One question: How do you store your tights, so they don't get snags, etc.?

I store mine in the bag they came in.

I store all my stockings and hosiery in ziplock sandwich bags.

Storage for hosiery - what works for this working woman

Own almost as many tights as I do shoes - HA!

Organize and store by color, then pattern as well as keeping the sheer stored separate of the opaque in decorative boxes found @ Michaels that look so pretty in my walk-in. There's also a wall hook that has an inexpensive shoe storage hanger (clear/cloth) that I use for my selections for the current week's wardrobe I have in mind - a constant rotation. It's smart to save part of original packaging that shows 'name of' or picture of 'pattern' or specialty tight or sheer. I usually cut down to fit into a small sandwich baggie (the fold-over type - no ziplock, as they have sharp corners) & try to keep the original bag they came in. (bag within the bag). My "Blacks" have a home all their own and the "Browns" live down the street so as to keep my sanity come 6 a.m.

Can you tell I'm one of those A.R. types - LoL! Spent some major $ at Nordie's Sale on Fall/Winter tights & leggings & do look forward to adding more Linea tights as they are offered. My first installment should be delivered come Monday? You guys got me all excited to see the Animal ones . . .for sure.

A friend uses diamond shaped drawer inserts to separate her hosiery & socks, but I think adding the sandwich bags/labels would make that system even better.

Readily available in Alaska in most grocery stores where I shop.

Note: Lyn08 - FYI - these are sometimes labeled as ""Snack bags"" depending on the brand

Thanks for all the hosiery storage recommendations. I put mine in a zip-lock storage bag, but I think Natural's recommendations are very good. I'll look for the fold-over sandwich bags, and make sure I keep the label with the color/type information (in/or taped to the front of the bag?).

I have very poor eyesight, and it's hard to determine colors (especially early in the morning). I've worn navy with black more times than I can count. I know navy and black are supposed to go together now, but not when I'm wearing all black, and then navy hose. (Note: I even have problems with my shoes!) Also, dark brown and black can be hard to identify.

Those fold over sandwich bags are very handy. I use them often for everything from storage in fridge to picking up dog poop in my yard.
