Here's the catch about Quibids, you have to PAY to bid.

Each bid is something like $0.60, but that quickly adds up.

E-bay is still free to bid.

Yep, Yuban is right, you have to pay up front to bid. And, don't believe the commercials that say you can get a computer for $20. I looked into another bidding site, can't remember the name & it was the same thing. Around $.60 - $.80 for one bid. It does add up very quickly. Google & read the reviews of these auction sites.

Deal Dash dot com is another pay-to-bid site. (It took me awhile to remember the name!)

In teeny-tiny print on the bottom of the screen in the commercials, it'll say how many times the person had to bid in order to "win" their item.

In one scene, it shows a woman saying that she won a KitchenAid mixer for "less than $25".

But at the bottom of the screen, in teeny-tiny print, it says that she had to bid 761 times in order to "win" that mixer.

So, at $0.60 per bid, times 761 = $456.6 on top of what your "winning" bid is.

At that price, you can buy a new mixer and still save money.

Quibids is the same exact set up.

ugh this site is a scam. i was on craigslist about a month ago trying to find the samsung galaxy s5 phone (used obviously) for a good price and where i could meet up with the seller at a verizon store to make sure it had a clean esn (so that i could activate it with no problem). WELL, i found 2 galaxys, from 2 different sellers, for a steal, emailed both sellers and they both said essentially the same thing. and i quote exactly, the both said "oh sorry i just sold it to this guy BUT..." and then mentioned quibids and how they "won the phones for cheap" through the site. big red flag. don't waste your money!
