Anyone own a pair of Corral Western boots?

Since moving to Nashville I see women wearing fashion western boots often. I saw a pair of Corrals in downtown Nashville last weekend and can't get them out of my mind. BTW....I have never owned 'real' western boots, individually hand-crafted and outrageously expensive, I might add. So...back to my original question. I wish I had tried them on - - maybe if I had I would be 'over it' already. As it stands, I think I will have to get back to that store in N-ville and at least try them on for size. Anyone own a pair and be willing to share your experience with them? ((I read that Taylor Swift wears Corral...just a little FYI))

I know someone who has them and she loves them. She had to go up half a size, tho. Me, I have plain 'ol solid color western boots, nothing fancy. Do it! Do it!!!

I don't have any from that brand, but Boot Barn carries them.

Kitty....I really hope that I end up with them. They are incredibly beautiful. I saw them and immediately fell in love. Like I said, I just haven't been able to stop thinking of them and would love wearing them this fall with jeans. They are cognac in color with a bone finished leather underlay and just a bit of bronze stud detail. On my! So beautiful. I usually wear 7 1/2 in a dress shoe but always wear an 8 in a boot. Just kicking myself for not trying them on. (( Thanks for your recommendation.

Lola...thank you. I checked Boot Barn but they don't have this particular style.

Well I guess I will need to check out Justin boots. My DH has been in the shoe industry most of his career (sadly he can't get them at a discount). But he told me that Mexican leather is VERY good leather - - I guess it wears very well. He told me the same thing - - that I would have 'em for life.

When I lived in West Texas a lot of women wore boots every day to work but they favored the Ariat Fat Baby style with a flat heel for comfort. Nobody wore boots with the higher beveled riding heel unless they were actually riding a horse. If a person got too ""duded up"" they stuck out like a sore thumb.

I would hope so. They certainly aren't cheap. The pair that I fell in love with in Nashville retailed for $500. However, the store had them on sale for $265 and I thought that seemed like a pretty good deal, even though I have never - ever - spent that much money on a pair of shoes or boots. (I realize that they can go for much more money - depending on the brand or style.) From everything I was reading about proper fit, it seems that once you break them in they almost have your 'signature' as they conform to your foot and become the most comfortable footwear you have ever worn. I read about how important proper fit is and how to make certain that you are purchasing the proper size. Think I will need to throw a pair of socks in my purse and pop on over to Nashville again this weekend. I really appreciate talking to you and for your sharing your western boot expertise, Ennui.

One daughter has two pairs of them. THey are very well made and last forever. Corral boots are especially cute and very western. All three of of girls would like a pair for Christmas and if they get them it won't be the $500.00 ones LOL. As for me, I am older and I love Frye boots.

Yep. It worked. Aren't they pretty? Much prettier in person, IMO. Very feminine, I think. I wanted to run up to Nashville to try them on in person, but found them on line at a pretty good price, so I think I will just cross my fingers and order them tomorrow. From what I have read, western boots are a little tricky to get a proper fit, but I think I have done enough research on proper fitting that I am going to jump right in and order them tomorrow. Saves me a trip to Nashville this weekend - - and I can get these in 24 hours.

Yeah. I know. That's what scares me about buying on line. So...you feel I should just make the drive into town and try them on in person, kachina?

She doesn't need a boot jack, she has a DH.

I have a high instep, and I've never had a problem getting boots off.

LOL ennui! There have been many times that I have needed to ask DH to help me with boots. So...what is your opinion? Take a chance and purchase them on-line or wait till this weekend and try them in person?
