Does anyone have this Linea ponte knit jacket?

I got this a few days ago. It's very nicely made and fits well. I just wonder how much I'll use it. It doesn't seem like a jacket that you can just throw on over anything. I think the neckline limits the kind of tops it will look good with.

So, those that have it, how do you wear it? What do you wear it with? Do you wear it more like a suit jacket in that it is part of your outfit? I hope I'm making sense. For $72, I want to make sure it's something I'll really wear.

good mornin' mjunkie... I bought this jacket in gray and red with matching pants. I see this neckline as very versatile. Since there is no collar you can wear with a turtleneck, a blouse with a tie neck. Unzip a little and wear with a sweater or shell with a jewel neckline and accessorize with scarves or necklaces. Also looks good unzipped with any kind of blouse, shell or sweater. I have worn both of mine a lot and when I am not feeling the accessory bug or in a hurry I wear with a white t skirt and jeans. Clean, simple but looks very polished and expensive. You will get your monies worth out of this jacket and it will never go out of style.

Thank you Happy Lady! I guess I am not very creative but I love your ideas and can envision wearing the jacket with the different tops as you suggested. I guess I will have to keep it.

I bought this because it's simple and long enough to wear over dark wash skinny jeans. I wear mine unzipped with a scoop neck under it and add beads up around the neckline.

I have it and wear it very casually with jeans over a short or long sleeve t-shirt. Also great to throw on when its cool with yoga pants to go back and forth to the gym. It is a very casual jacket though I guess you could dress it up a bit depending on your style.

Hi, I bought it in Grey, Navy and Red and the matching pants---and I just love it. I wear with Turtlenecks, Jewel necks, boats necks, Scoop necks and tank tops. The only thing I have not worn with it is a collared shirt---but I don't hardly ever wear collared shirts anymore. Also, you can wear AS A TOP with nothing underneath for a nice sleek suited look---just remember that if you do before you unzip it accidentally---LOL!

This is one of my favorite jackets. It is always my go to jacket and have gotten tops, a skirt and pants to go with it. It was one of those unexpected purchase that I got when I saw it on air. Hope it comes back in more colors. Mjunkie, leave it out where you see and you'll be surprised how many times you pick it up and wear it.

I have this in the navy wore it often in the spring so I went back and ordered the red. I am not a red wearer but thought I would give it a try. usually wear the navy for work with navy pants and the red with grey pants. I also wondered how much use I would get from this but as with all of Louis ponte jackets they are staples in my closet. This jacket works best for me with tank tops. I have gotten many compliments when wearing the red jacket. I think people are stunned that it is not my typical dark jacket.

What I really enjoy with this jacket is the stretch. I can wearing while driving with no problems and it also does not wrinkle. Great investment piece.
