Skinny Tees JMHO

I bought a couple of these a year or so ago- here is my review: One of the most uncomfortable garments EVER. Too snug ( and I am normal size), HOT, and tag is ITCHY, ITCHY and difficult to remove. Believe me, I've tried. Why don't they have a printable tag? I don't understand the appeal of these tanks. I've donated mine long ago.

I hope it is snug. From the look on the presentation, the garment looks like it's going to be quite loose-fitting on me.

I'm a med and I thought that they were very uncomfortable and tight-Have no idea how these fit a plus size person.

I purchased these the last time they were a TSV and sent them back! I'm a medium also and they were very uncomfortable and not very flattering.

I love layering with tanks and do all year round. I buy low-cost tanks locally but would try the TSV if I needed any more of them.

I had the same issue -- too tight and too hot! I wanted to like them. Can't imagine wearing two at a time as they just suggested. I don't think the vendor rep's look is flattering with the white top ""over top"" (Qspeak). You can see through the white top and her pink skinnytee to the dark waistband of her skirt.

Had to return an earlier purchase. I wear medium, and this was awful, thin and not so great.

I am always looking for good tank tops but I just cant with these. Sorry to be TMI on a Monday night but after my hysterectomy the last thing I need while suffering through my personal summers is to be encased in two layers of compression nylon. Yikes.

You are so right. I was thinking about ordering them until I saw the vendor's dark skirt through her two tops.

I wouldn't wear those either. Too hot and I don't need a long tee down to my knees handing out of my top. The vendor looked silly also. I don't go for too many colors and so many different lengths of tops on all at once. A sloppy look in my opinion.

Gazelle -- I am size large -- that may be part of my issue! If you are more slender, they may be just fine for you! I just don't like things so closely fitted either.

I can't imagine these tanks really being one-size-fits-all; have read lots of reviews and hearing they show every lump and bump you may have turns me off to ordering them; nylon/spandex would be too hot for my climate also

I never had these tees so I can't say they are the same, but if you like to, or sometimes need to, layer, try the Kirkland brand from Costco. They are a camisole rather than tank, but two in a package for $10 is worth a try. Actually I think they do have a tank, too.

Althugh QVC might show these tanks being worn alone..those of us who own them, have been stating repeatedly, that they're for layering. You put one on under a sheer top, or a top whose neckline is a bit too low for you. Or you put one on under another top that you think is a bit too short, and you don't want to flash your belly/backside.

And they are only a single layer, and not hot.

As for the tag...I couldn't remember noticing one at all. I went to look at the ones I have, and there is a very narrow, soft, silky tag. It never bothered me, but if you want to remove it, it would take a few snips of your scissors.

I really do not understand the complaints about the tag. It is a very tiny little tag and IMO not itchy at all.

My Linea tags are more itchy and bothersome than the Skinnytees tags.

I think if the Skinnytees aren't for you, don't buy them. No need for trash talking the Skinnytees.
