My favorite is the Issac Mizrahi 24/7 crop~ Also love the Issac crops without the elastic waist- I think they are called Grace Icon slim leg~ l like WWC and D&C for tops only. I like the SG Chelsea stretch crop, too.

WWC without a doubt. They are knitted & D&C is mostly woven. The contour waist crops with pockets are very flattering.

WWC for sure. D&C, what ever style, has never fit me properly. I own three pairs of WWC, two capris and long pair of pants. Love them. Wash and dry great. I guess it all depends on your body type. I am a small and order the small, perfect.

As far as I know, all the WWC pants are cotton/Spandex knit. Those things are hotter than a suit of armor in hot weather. I put on a pair and went out to sit on the patio one warm summer day. Within minutes, I was so hot I had to go change. The D&C pants are woven cotton with a lot less Spandex; it makes a world of difference. They can let your body "breathe".

I HAVE BOUGHT D&CO pants but find the material they use to be scratchy and a little too heavy for summer. Would like to see some of their pants in the smooth sateen fabric.

The Women with Control are a great fit but again, the fabric is a little too heavy for the heat in summer. I do however wear them in the fall and winter.

On 6/18/2014 chiclet said:
I bought some WWC pants that were a TSV (ankle pants) and the quality was so poor. They seemed so cheap. Denim and Co. usually has fairly good quality if you can find what you like.

For whatever it's worth I always find that the Women With Control TSV items are not the same quality as the items not purchased in TSV bulk. My hunch is that there is a skimp on fabric and workmanship suffers when the manufacturing facility cranks out 50,000 units as opposed to half (or less) of that number that they would normally produce for the line. I'm not excusing this-- and it's something which Renee and her team should address-- but, I've bought enough WWC items to form this opinion.

As for capris, ankle pants, cropped or whatever you want to call your not full length pants I would recommend Isaac's for fabric quality and design style. I like WWC because they fit me the best. You may also want to check out cropped pants from Linea and Liz Claiborne. D&C fabrics always seem ok to me when I order items in the brand, so I if there's a pair in that line you like I would not be afraid to order. Frankly, it's been since before Jeanne passed that I've ordered anything from Quacker Factory so I'll refrain from commenting about that line.

I have not tried WWC except for a pair of jeans a few years ago which I sent back because of the fit. I've been tempted, but most of her capris are pocketless and I need pockets. D&C are very casual. I have purchased a couple pair, but a long time ago. They are okay, but I've not been tempted again. I, too, like the Dream Jeanne capris. They are very comfortable and I get many compliments when I wear them (I have 5 pair now).

I wear both, but I think the WWC are much more flattering. I wear more flowing tops with the WWC, and more tailored with the D&C. That seems to work for me. On days where I want total comfort - it's WWC.

I think it depends on your shape (apple, pear, straight up and down). FOR ME...I'm a pear so that means I'm much much bigger at the bottom (hips/thighs) and have a small waist. For me, the D&C work the best because the waist is elastic and will work with a wide variety of waist sizes.

I need pants that either have 1) all elastic of 2) belt loops.

I tried issac's 24 stretch pants and even thougth I loved the fabric, it does not have belt loops so the pants were so excessively big in the waist and it just puckered out so much it was not right for my shape.

Also, I think D&C has a wide wide variety of colors and depending on the fit the twill type fabric can be dressed up with a blazer to work while the WWC and IM might not be able to be dressed up as easily.
