I love QVC, but have not ordered much lately. The price of shipping and handling is getting ridiculous. I have ordered from other networks where they offer reduced and free shipping and many more easy pays. Just saying!

HSN and other websites offers many items with free shipping. I think it'd be good way to build customer loyalty to offer free shipping or discounted shipping charges!

Their S&H charges makes a lot of the items cost prohibitive for me.

Hi ladies, I agree with the S&H Cost. I would also like for the Q. to give us a discount over the entire days purchases. If you buy something in the morning and then later that day, you will be given the S&H reduction. I really did enjoy that week in March I think it was when they had the reduced shipping-- 5 to 3 dollars for most items. It really does make a difference. I received a survey shortly after that -- asking about S&H cost and how they affect my purchases. I wish they would do something for us. Even a reduction for frequent shoppers, that would be nice as well.

I am right there with you. I am over the shipping and handling on fashions expecially! If you want to buy more than one item you are really paying thru the nose.

I have noticed lately I buy beauty TSV's on QVC and Fashion from HSN. And I am happy with it. HSN discounts s/h after first purchase in a 24 hr span for fashion and that way you can enjoy your shopping and not feel like you are being raped.

I agree and find that I can find similar items cheaper at b&m or other sites. I love the Amazon Prime free shipping and items usually arrive in two days. This past Saturday DH ordered a tiller and it was waiting on the porch Monday.

Out of the three major shopping channels, I find HSN offers the better shipping deals (and customer service). I think ShopHQ is the worst! They do not offer reduced shipping on the same items ordered unless they have a special offer for that day. If it was not for Skinn Cosmetics I don't think I would shop with them (thank good Skinn's prices are reasonable).

Asking QVC to do any of these things, is like pi ing in the wind. People have asked for these things for years and they don't listen. Therefore I do not buy.

Practically everything is free S/H on HSN and on flex pay. I don't have to pay sales tax in my state and it's great when I have no additional costs.

QVC needs more Easy Pay & free S/H. It would be nice for QVC to offer a coupon once in a while for loyal customers. Just getting a holiday easy pay deal isn't that special, it's stil paying full price. I would like some reward for spending money and being a loyal customer all these years.

I just don't understand it when I order multiple items in the same order, they are all shipped separately. I can understand if different brands are in different warehouses, but I ordered 3 identical bracelets last week (in different colors) and they were all shipped separately. I just don't get it.

I agree with this statement. I have spent a lot of money with QVC over the years. It would be nice if they would offer across the board discounts when you reach a certain level. I recently stopped my auto delivery of Philosophy products when I realized I can get some of the things cheaper from the Philosophy website (and no sales tax). I didn't mind being loyal for a while since QVC introduced me to the line, but QVC needs to stay competitive and give me a reason to buy from them.

There's other sites that charge s&h charges unless you order a certain dollar amount. It's not like Q is the only one that charges.

I have to agree as well. Please look at the other "online shopping choices". Even COSTCO offer FREE S & H with excellent customer service and also, they stand by their products.

If you take a close look, "majority" of the products sold on Q will charge 1/3rd of the actual price of an item as S & H. Sometimes one would think if it is worthwhile. Some electronic, household or clothing items seem like "open box" or used or tried also. Together, along with the S & H charges we have to ask is it truly worthwhile?

This helps to defray the shipping costs.

But you are all correct..shipping is discounted or free at so many other sites. After all the money I have spent..I deserve some perks! LOL

Chicos, WHBM, SOMA etc all give you LIFETIME free shipping once you reach a certain level of purchases. Couldn't Q do something like that? Or even yearly?

I shop from HSN a lot and I would disagree that they almost always give free s/h on items. Often they do on certain items but not almost always and even though they give half off s/h on like items when purchased in the same day, that adds up.

For instance, the TS today on HSN is camis. They are charging $5.95 s/h for those lightweight camis. If I wanted to buy 2 sets, I'd be paying almost $9.00 in s/h for 4 camis that weight next to nothing. I want those camis but IMO that s/h is out of line and is stopping me from ordering.

I do the same (almost always). I usually get the rebates 3 to 4 days after I place the order, whether the items have been shipped. If I don't get a rebate on certain purchase, I would send Discover Card a message to check, and they would give the rebate; if I call them, they'll give the rebate right then and there.

I SO AGREE! Recently I purchased a "buy one, get $4.00 off the second one."

So, imagine my shock/horror when a $60-some purchase ended up being $84.00. And, what a surprise, one item fit and the other didn't. This is the reason I have stopped buying clothes on QVC - obviously with some exceptions.

My household purchases from the Q are on EasyPay, otherwise I buy from Amazon or other online sites. If QVC would humble themselves (unlikely!) and discount their outrageous S&H c osts, I certainly would buy more.

It's stopping me too. If the size you order doesn't fit, then you're out whatever the return S&H is & you have nothing to show for it.

I agree that HSN does not almost always give free shipping. I was looking for some tee type tops and under that section there were 187 entries and only 21 of them had free shipping (they include a summary at the top of the page so you can see how many). They are currently running a special 25% off shipping on handbags so clearly they normally charge shipping on most of those also.
