One thing I have noticed is women are wearing wedges that do NOT have a platform. I find the look demure and feminine, while at the same time kind of secksy!

So, will you be sporting stilettos?

nope....the absolute highest for me are 3.5 inches.....and even those i dont wear a lot anymore. LOVE kitten heels.

I don't ever consider stilettos.

When I see women wearing them I never think - wow, great shoes! Love the look! I think they belong in the circus. lol...

Most of the people I see walking in stilettos look like they can't even walk properly. I have never worn very high heels and rarely wear them anymore.

Noooo and I love heels! I will see a shoe I like and then when I get up close find out it is 6"" stiletto heels.

I am with the poster who likes 3.5"" heels but favors Kitten Heels!

I can't do flats too much though and a lot of the sandals out today are the flat like gladiator ones ..they are more to the ankle and not up farther for the majority of them. I have several pair that are blingy. I love bling!!

I like the look better than the wedges/platforms. I don't think women walk right in either shoe though. When they wear the wedges they "clomp" and "stomp". It's just not a very flattering walk. But when wearing super high heels they practically have to tip toe and take baby steps. Honestly, there needs to be a happy medium.

sorry, 7 inch heels are way too high for me. I like high heels and will wear them for dressy events, but day to day, well, I have to be on my feet too much so I opt for more practical and functional shoes.

Gosh, those are a beautiful pair of shoes! Back in the day I wore classic pumps like these, but certainly not as high.

I've noticed a lot of the news anchor women, meteorologists and hosts wear 6" heels and seem to navigate their way around quite well. Must be an art to it.

Never will wear something that high. I have some wedges but I also love a nice 2.5 - 3.5 pump. I purchased (at Lord & Taylors) two pairs of Nine West sandal type pumps with a 2.5 heel and they are gorgeous and sexy. They also look amazing on the foot. That goes to show you that you don't need 6" heels to look sexy and beautiful: Wish I could upload the picture but don't know how. Anyway, its called Nine West Gaget T-Strap Sandal and its on sale all over the place. I got them in the two toned aqua/tan and the black/tan absolutely beautiful.

Well, I won't be strutting around in those shoes. No woman who actually has to go places will wear them. Those are "posing" shoes. The shoes that the 20somethings wear out to the trendy clubs and kick them off under the table when they get up to dance or go to the bar for a drink. The classic pointy toe pump never went out of style anyway.

They are very nice. But, I have given all mine away so I will not be sporting them. I cannot wear high heels anymore. But even when I did, I never wore them that high. Enjoy them. They will look great.

Terrible for the back. Over the long haul will do a lot of damage say chiropractors and it makes sense. Those who wear them usually look hunched over.

When I see someone wearing shoes similar to this (assuming they can walk-some can't!) I think those look good. When I see them in a store I know with the bone structure I was born with I will contribute to my bunion, and my back starts to hurt as I imagine how they would look on me!

Now those are real shoes! I've never been able to wear shoes like that.....however, my 33 year old daughter has always been able to run in those things!

My granddaughters favorite place to go is DSW shoe world (hundreds of shoes). My oldest granddaughter can also run in these things! Not like we'd buy them for her!

I sometimes take them to DSW and they try on the shoes, walk around in them. It's fun for them to 'play dress up'.
